[ It begins with a set of scarlet eyes staring in to the feed. The woman belonging to them tilts her head, and curiously leans back, offering a modest smile. ]
Hello there! That is, if I've got this thing working properly. [ Fingertips framing her cheek, she laughs. ] I'm quite new here, if you hadn't surmised. I do have purpose for this broadcast, however; I assure you.
[ She straightens up with a gentle clearing of the throat, playing at taking on a more professional stance. ]
With the ongoing war, I feel that it's especially important that we are able to care for our wounded. In - ah, my world, I suppose you'd say - I practiced as a medical professional at the Royal London Hospital, and thusly, would like to extend my services to anyone in need, regardless of alignment.
[ A finger raised, in point. ]
Particularly, it is my hope to connect with others that also have experience in the medical field. As I've been told that many of us come from different times, and technology directly affects our field, it might be beneficial to assist one another in updating our methods of practice based on what materials we have to work with here.
So! [ A clasp of the hands. ] if any of the aforementioned points might apply to you, I'm counting on you to get back to me, Angelina Dalles-- okay~? [ And a wink! ] I'm looking forward to it!

My apologies, Miss Dalles. I should have done that first. My name is Oscar Vessalius, but I do so hope you'll just call me Oscar. It's been a pleasure after all.
[ and they were flirting already, weren't they? Shouldn't that excuse the more proper forms of address? ]

[ Waving her hand, she dismisses it thusly! ]
Vesalius, is it? Not unlike the famous anatomist, I assume. [ Pressing a hand to her cheek, she shines a coy little smile. ] Perhaps this might mean that you are just as well-versed in matters of the body, hm~♥?

You've had experience with a locket like this before? I'm afraid it's my first time seeing one with such magical enchantment.
[ but hopefully not the last!
... although he could certainly do without that light blush staining his cheeks as he cleared his throat. ]
And I'm afraid I've no other trade then a diplomat. I must sadly disappoint you. [ and however much he may flirt, his heart belonged to his beloved Sarah. Anything else was just a matter of the flesh. ]

My, you really are a gentleman-- [ She'll raise a hand to count off two more fingers, too. ] ...modest, and handsome, too.
[ A more genuine smile this time. Similarly, she enjoys teasing and making outrageous jokes, but hearts are terribly complicated things... ]
As for the locket, I had it explained to me briefly before using it, thank goodness. I don't believe I could've handled it very well at all, otherwise!

Your compliments are medicine to a parched soul, my lady! You truly are a doctor of the highest caliber.
[ and he means every single word as well, but he contained his brightness and sobered up slightly at the mention of the locket. ]
But I'm afraid I was of the same bent; if not for the goodwill of another guest at the feast a few nights ago, I would have put away this locket as a trinket for my late wife.
[ because, fool that Oscar was, he wondered if, somehow, in this land of magic, perhaps his wife still lived. ]

To think that a good man could be burdened with such heartache; it's one that I know well, myself. I only hope that you may find her one day soon.

[ despite bringing up late wives, ahem ]
Are you a widow as well, madam? I hope the years have treated you kindly, if so. [ he never would have guessed with how competent and composed she was, but women, he's found, where a constant source of surprise and delight. ]
