[ When Eggsy starts up the video broadcast, he's standing in an outdoor area of the Station, in front of one of its restaurants. He'd come close to his place during his scouting mission last month, but he hadn't had time to investigate back then. It sounds like they've got some hell coming their way, but there's not much they can do before those mechanical creations appear except for prepare.

Right now, he's planning to kill two birds with one stone. ]

So what's with this place? It's like a tiny slice of home.

[ Despite the modern surroundings, Eggsy's puca is milling around in the background, a dark and nasty creature that he somehow managed to tame -- sort of. ]

Are we allowed to stay here? Then again, might not be the best idea. There's been some earthquakes... I think.

[ They don't get them in London, so he's not that familiar with what they feel like, but still. The ground shaking for a few seconds without any warning... what else could it be?

He draws a hand over his mouth as he runs through his mental list of what else he wanted to ask. ]

Oh, also. Battle's comin' up, I need a teacher for sword fighting and magic and archery. I know there's loads of different kinds of magic, but if you wanna tell me what you specialize in, it might help me figure out where to start.

[ This whole thing is kind of awkward, talking to no one and everyone at the same time, so he finishes off abruptly. ]

[ Once he's done with that, Eggsy pockets his locket and starts to explore the rest of the Station, so he's primed to run into anyone who might call it home -- or anyone who's there for a visit. ]

[He's enjoying this, and thank you for that Eggsy. It's strange, when he thought he'd never be able to look Hiro in the eye again after learning that Johnny had told him something similar. It's hard to keep a straight face, not counting the hint of a smirk.]

Baron Johnny Storm. And nepotism suggests favoritism, pure and simple. I earn every fluffy pillow.

[ The name Johnny Storm doesn't mean anything to him, so he must be one of the few barons that Eggsy hasn't met yet. It sounds like he's quite the character, though, given that he grants people high positions in his spire based on their sexual prowess. ]

Whoa, okay, you don't need to go into detail. [ Eggsy doesn't have any problem with the idea of two men being together, but he doesn't need to hear about the things Jack has done to earn his fancy room. ]

So there any spires that don't require some kind of sexual favor? [ At this point, Eggsy may as well just stay at the Station. ]

[Okay, time to get serious.]

I believe you'll find that most of the barons and baronesses are generous and accommodating, Johnny included. He would be the first to pledge his protection while you're under his roof.

[ That's one hell of a shift in attitude, but Eggsy realizes they've passed the point of joking around. ]

Yeah, most of the ones I've met have made that kinda offer. There sure as hell ain't any kind of shortage of places to stay 'round here.

[ To the point that it's difficult to know where the best spot would be. Eggsy shrugs. ] Don't really like imposin' on people, so I'll probably just stick to the Station for now. [ Hear enough times that the poor are nothing but parasites on society, and it has an effect. ]

If that's what makes you comfortable. But you needn't feel that way. You've probably heard that the shard in your chest makes you special. That's especially true with the Unseelie.

I didn't do anything to earn it. [ So as far as Eggsy's concerned, he shouldn't rely on it. ] Not sure something can make you special when it's the default. [ Maybe he's being overly stubborn about it, but he also just prefers to be independent, rather than under someone else's care (or thumb). ]
