Commander Saber has left us. Her absence will be marked and mourned.

Mere words fall short to give her the credit she deserves, both as one who held the heart of a true Unseelie and as one who led us onwards to see another day. She was a true knight, and, I found, a truer friend.

To those of you that also knew her, I share in your grief.

[and there, glasses off, put back where they were before. now it's like she didn't even move at all.]

[ John smiles at her, then shifts -- he's going in for a kiss. ]

[very far from the worst way she's been greeted in the morning, and all too easy to return it in kind.]

Sleep all right?

[she considers making a quip about his snoring, but it's a small price to pay for his presence.]

Actually? Yeah.

[ For once. Could be the activities from before he fell asleep, could just be her presence, could be a combination... but he didn't wake up due to any nightmares, which is nice and fairly unusual. ]

You?

[erythristic]

[huh. she'd half been expecting some reminder that she knew how well he slept, but well, some times she doesn't mind being wrong.]

Surprisingly well.

[no dreams is what she means, none good nor ill, but the opportunity is there to play off her own remark, and a little smile crosses her lips.]

...or perhaps, not entirely surprising.

I'm going to take that as a compliment. That I wore you out instead of boring you.

[ John laughs a little, and as much as he plays the confident male- well, he does hope that's the case. ]

Trust me, of the words I could use as descriptor, boring would never make the list.

[not that anyone's asking for adjectives, or to distil down what happened to a single word at all.]

[ Another laugh, another kiss; he's going to pull Grell closer, if he's allowed.
