Commander Saber has left us. Her absence will be marked and mourned.

Mere words fall short to give her the credit she deserves, both as one who held the heart of a true Unseelie and as one who led us onwards to see another day. She was a true knight, and, I found, a truer friend.

To those of you that also knew her, I share in your grief.

[ That much can be agreed upon. He narrows his eyes, fingers wrapped around the locket with a vice-like grip on his end. Then, after a short pause: ]

Shit. [ Eren hisses out, tone razor edged, but just barely, it wavers. ] Just a couple days ago, all those people were... [ The fiften Unseelie, murdered, all pierced with and left through pikes. ] And now this? I'm going to fucking kill whoever's been doing this.

You're not the only one, Eren. Justice will be done.

Contact Jason Todd about this and see if you can help him in any way. I know he wants to investigate.

[ For Eren, this isn't about justice anymore. It's payback. It's putting them in their goddamn place, because she didn't deserve this. No one whose lives that have been claimed by them did.

The world doesn't need murderers.

Eren exhales slowly, but it does nothing for his flaring temper. Nonetheless, he manages to catch the words that appear on his locket next. ]

Jason? [ There's a biting familiarity to the way he says his name. Eren hadn't been in any mood to grow annoyed over him earlier today, however, and he certainly isn't in any now. ] ... Yeah. Fine. That's what I'll do.

I know it's a lot to ask you to be patient with him. But he's a person with a good head on his shoulders. And between the two of you, we lack not for determination.

I know. [ Voice going rough, it's more an automatic response than anything. But, after a few beats, he repeats more earnestly: ] ... I know. I'll talk to him.
