Video / Unseelie Locked

[Balem stands with his hands clasped together, head lowered. A cluster of bees swarms around him, and their buzzing can be faintly heard.]

Greetings. I am certain that most have you have heard by now that unfortunately Baron Archer is no longer with us.

[He straightens up, head held high.]

He has left the spire at Archer Point in my care, and I will be serving as Baron from now on. My first priority is making sure that all business is in order. If you had any prior agreements with Baron Archer, I will be happy to discuss them. I welcome any visitors, as well.

If we haven't met, I am Balem Abrasax. Oh, and if you do visit, don't mind the bees if you happen to come across them. They aren't aggressive.

Concerns over invasive species.

[ Concern isn't quite the right word, but it works well enough for his purposes. Truly, he's not concerned at all. ]

The concern was more that bees from another world could become an invasive species, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

[ even if the effects of a new species of bee on the native population might be interesting to watch. ]

Oh, I assume someone must have brought or asked for one. There is a difference between one animal and oh, say...a hundred bees, however.

Not if you planned to start a hive. Although that would be measured in thousands, not hundreds of bees.

[ Is he serious or is he playing around with the topic now? It's hard to tell... ]

Ah, I wouldn't think so.

[ He's likely imagining the wrong kind of ship, but it's still a poor place to have bees. ]
