[What's captured by the locket is the image of an unsmiling, expressionless man, but those who know Kotomine Kirei -- perhaps from around Caer Glaem or one of the chapels surrounding it or Leathann -- might note there's a little bit more energy to him. He's in Leathann now, in fact, riding down a street on horseback, his cleg's wings carefully folded back.

It's fortunate to see the number of victims suffering from the silver sickness decreasing instead of increasing, finally. If the Void is alive, it follows that there's a chance it's sentient. It appears to have a purpose. Its choice to do what it's doing and its given purpose might just be one and the same; similarly, this is all it can feed on, because this is what it's meant to do.

Concepts like the "natural order" of the universe elude their understanding for a reason. It's the realm of gods-- no, possibly forces greater than gods. He's willing to accept that.

Near the south of Leathann there is a chapel with a tall spire. Look for that, and I'll be waiting at the coast. --Ah, forgive my manners. My name is Kirei Kotomine. If you ask anyone around the chapel, they should be able to help point you in the right direction.
