Lets just say I could lift a truck full of stones with one arm and not feel the strain of such a weight.

[ it's not really an exaggeration, is it? katherine can toss fully grown men to the other side of the world if she so wishes to. but where he's advertised himself as being strong, katherine can see that she may be able to overpower him in that department. she's not a teacher; she doesn't want to become one, but a part of her wants to be able to learn from him as he does from her. he may be able to create the most magnificent of things with his hands, but weapons of supergenius intellect can only take one so far in the game of survival. ]

[ if katherine has to answer why she's even offering herself to spar with a teenage boy who may be able to teach her a thing or two she hasn't picked up over the last five hundred years, she'll respond with i'm bored. it isn't a sense of loyalty to the unseelie court, or even wanting to be a team player. she's not growing soft; katherine has never been soft. ]

[Holy shit what. Okay...okay! Okay. So. That's certainly one sentence that really makes him clue in to the fact that this is someone he should take more of an interest in, and also perhaps internally question why she's taking an interest in him. He can never picture himself being that strong, of course, but being able to take something from someone with her skills has its appeal. It suddenly makes a little more sense.

He won't actually question why she's offering though. He knows better than to look a gift horse in the mouth or whatever.]

Let's just say I used to outrun and outwit guys three times my size back home. Annnnd a bunch of the natives in Treun last summer.
