The Seelie Monarchs have two sigils, not just one. Two were used to destroy Caer Scima and deal a heavy blow to the Unseelie Monarchy. Prior to being privy to this information from the Crown, only one sigil was known to be in the hands of Solais.

Who knows where the Seelie got their hands on a second?

I strongly suggest checking to make sure none have disappeared. If one has, then we have a place to start from to learn how it got into their hands.

The Unseelie Crown has implored me to find sigils and turn them over. Do not fear me or any sent by me to come seeking them. There is much I will do for my Court, but there are also things I will not do. Still, it would be best to assume there may be other Unseelie agents out there looking for these artifacts.

Not to my knowledge. I do not think Morla had time to ask the Seelie High-King which ones he had while he was tearing Reul apart with them.

I knew the Seelie monarchs were looking for them. Didn't know they'd gotten any other than the one, though.

It is possible she knows but does not deem it necessary for me to know, nor did I ask out of concern such would betray my intimate knowledge of them.

We need to find out how they got the other one. As much as I am loathe to admit it right now [as someone is still a little salty over the battles] this may be something only those of you with Seelie shards may be able to discover.

She knew vaguely of the extent of Caer Scima, though, not to that level of severity. Alice takes a breath, steeling herself, because she knows at least one was never recovered and she looked for it. ]

That explains the damage leveled. Do you have any penalties for those who lose sigils other than the obvious?

What possible penalties could I exact upon any of this group that lost theirs? What do we gain from me unleashing my rage upon any of us over these matters? With this group, over these matters, I am not the Winter King. I am not the Unseelie General. I am Saber.

We were entrusted with this information, many of us entrusted with the protection of these powerful artifacts. I would like to think that any of us that did not betray this group and hand one over would work to recover one that was lost or at least discover how it was done so that no others suffer the same fate.

Now, if there is betrayal amongst us, then I may take personal measures.

It wasn't an act of betrayal for this lost artifact, it was the actions of thieves.

[ She is very powerful and strong, which is why Alice is being careful about details. She just wants to make sure, she's being protective. ]

But if the second sigil in the Seelie hands was, then I would say the punishment was justified.

One was given to the monarchs freely from among those I trusted to hide them. My hand collected justice for the betrayal. The second was stolen by members of the Cult of the Fox. I'm aware that they have agents in the members of both courts.

Seelie shardbearer leadership has appealed to the Seelie Monarchs to destroy all sigils in their possession.

Are you certain the Cult of the Fox turned that sigil over to the Seelie Monarchy? As I suspect the Fox's daughter leads that little group, I find it hard to believe she would turn it over to them.

Not certain, but strongly supportive of the notion. I know for a fact that Severine is one of their leaders, though not the only one. If her goal is to destroy the avatars of power of both courts.. shardbearers.. it stands to reason that she might let such a token go if she gains enough for that goal. Or other goals, as yet unknown to us.

Given that none of us knew about the second until now, this might be classified intel unto the highest levels.

I do too. But this was said to one of their shardbearers, which has me conflicted on who to believe. I don't doubt they'd lie about something, but what you're saying is equally correct. If the goal is to use them, then destroy them though--

[She raises a hand to her mouth, shocked, and then pinches the bridge of her nose. Nobody can see it, but it comes across in her tone all the same. This is lovely.]

I still have mine. [And it's going to stay where it is. Any sigil falling into the hands of the monarchs is a bad thing, but maybe it's because she's intimately familiar with her own that she can imagine a different sort of devastation being wrought with it.]

I am afraid I know no more about that second sigil than I did when you first mentioned it to me, but I will keep my eyes and ears open.

Is it safe to assume the one I left with you is still in its hiding spot?
