If you try and saddle a mare that's a few months in, they're likely to get irritated very easily with ya'. Mares get fussy further down the line.

Stallions are the dude horses, yeah? She's usually hooked up to a wagon with her buddy, who is definitely a dude horse. They're pretty chill but she likes to steal hats.

Anyway, you know how old the stallion is? He won't be very shy if he wants to mate. You'll be able to tell if he's 'playing'.
