BACKDATED TO DUSK ON THE 7TH | BOTH COURTS -> SEELIE LOCKED | VIDEO
OPEN TO BOTH COURTS
[...ahh, Kayneth, you're supposed to hate modernity! You're not supposed to be taking a video of the Jabberwhelp flying off like some kind of tourist with an iPhone and showing it off to everyone with a locket!
...actually, from his audible breathing, it's pretty clear that he's not taking a casual approach to this. After a moment or so, he can be heard muttering to himself...]
...yes, you might as well take "mutually assured destruction" up a notch by ensuring it lays everything to waste... did the Americans and Soviets think of anything quite this absolutely mad? Ah, one of them probably considered something...
[...he pauses, as though he remembered something...]
... oh, for the love of --- just a moment.
[He sighs angrily, ends the feed to both courts, and then opens up again for Seelie only.]
SEELIE LOCKED
...apologies for all that, it was a bit difficult not to get caught up in the moment of watching victory go absolutely pear shaped. It was best to warn everyone Seelie, and at least a video will show you what we're dealing with.
Anyway, that's the absolute horror that was unleashed from the ruins of Caer Scima just a moment ago... I've got absolutely no idea what that hideous thing is, but it's certainly something. I wanted to try and hunt it down, but...
[He turns the locket down to his hand, where his usually nice looking coat and gloves are looking like they've been left out in the rain for about a decade.]
...well, I'm eternally grateful for the fact that I can heal, because my flesh suffered roughly the same effects when I started getting too close to it. I have absolutely no idea where it's going now, but our prospects aren't looking fantastic if it crosses our paths. I wouldn't advise fighting it if you don't have anything you can use at range --- or at all, really, until we find out what in God's name it is and how to kill it.
...anyway, those of us at Scima won't be here too much longer at all, I'd imagine. I'd be happy to discuss something with someone who might know what's going on with this... perhaps when we're back in Seelie territory.
[...he goes back to mumbling as he begins shutting the locket.]
Ugh, what an absolute mess...

Audio, locked as hell
Audio | Private as fuck
Especially when you've got a biological nuclear weapon flying to God knows where. It strikes a few extremely uncomfortable chords.

Also congratulations, you probably caused a premature release of the living nuke.

...and look, it's really not my fault if the Unseelie didn't keep that thing sealed away tightly enough. The only worse security muck-up I can think of would have been if Clock Tower tried to hide Gazamy in a broom closet.

[He definitely went from "they're my enemies because they are" to "they're my enemies because those bastards need to die" thanks to the battle and the attack on Caer Scima. He is not happy.]
video.
Whoever decided "ah, let's create something positively horrible and rot everything..." that's the person I'm taking issue with right now.
video.
That said, who gave you guys the tools to destroy Caer Scima? I might have some words for whoever that was. Impressive work, whoever that was. [He might find it impressive, too, if he wasn't pissed.
He's barely been here two weeks.]

[Although really could you not contribute to the destruction. Berserker would like to think better of this man, but it seems mages are mages. Still, he's not yet deserving of harm.]

[But with a new Master in Lucifer, that wasn't anything to worry about either.]
You are able to heal yourself to some extent, then? That's good, I'm glad to hear it.

What the kriffing hells is that Kayneth?!
video | Seelie locked
I have absolutely no idea what it's called, but it's... certainly really awful. Don't go near it if you see it, as it is an absolutely terrible idea.
video | Seelie locked
Why? What the hell did it do to your skin?

( not here. )
also not here;
[Video]
Roughly the same effects? Exactly what happened to your skin?
[Video]
[said rather casually as though he's not actually freaking out about it at all...]
I'm certain if I'd spent more time in its presence it would've been worse, but thankfully I got away in time.
[Video]
What- what about the other people around you, can it be healed for them too or are they-- [He swallows.] --are they stuck like that?

Do not the people to the south require aid, as well? I humbly ask that you see to them, instead.
( Oh, all right. Trying for diplomacy can't hurt, really. Better that than blaming him for a situation which is not at all his fault. Other than the fact that he is hunting something which has cried out for help to her ears. )
voice »
Nevertheless... yes, I'm sure I'll be seeing to them first, anyway.

That is a fact upon which we cannot disagree. Though I must say that like any child, it knows not what it does.
( Frankly: she figures it's going after Caer Glaem because its own home was levelled by Tarz and his troops. It's not unfair. So long as the casualties are at a minimum at worst. )
You have my thanks.

[Not that he wasn't without disappointment. If El Melloi fell, Roa would have had a chance to steal his body...]
But, you panic too much. Was that creature not something of absolute beauty?
Video;
[...well, okay, he doesn't appreciate compliments that much anyway but still]
Video;
Are you not an abomination, yourself? Think of the ordinary soldiers who were faced with your familiar.
It's cruel of you to think you're not a monster in comparison.
