You might want to avoid La Llorona at night if you don't like spirits or vampires. Keep out of Loch Noa, unless you want a ghost wanderin' around your camp. [She's seen and heard things, which makes it all the more apparent as Merida trails her finger around the map.] Avoid Mount Verla. There's fire nymphs that will burn you alive.

[ Johnny's impressed; he might not be royalty, but he knows what the kid of a king and queen should be called. And wow, what kind of king must her dad be, to be a bear king?

Although when she goes on he brightens. He's never believed in ghosts or vampires or any of the like, but to think that they probably exist here, well. It's only when she mentions Mount Verla that he really sits up, however. Nymphs, is it? And the fire, well, it's all right up his alley. ]

Fire nymphs, huh? I'd like to see them try. Have you ever been those places?

Aye, but I don't put much stock into that since my kingdom doesn't exist here. I prefer to carve my own path here.

[Merida can't help but raise an eyebrow, though she shakes her head at that question as she folds her map back up.]

I've been to La Llorona myself, it's just south of th' Caer, although I keep an ear out for th' rest. Tales might be tales, but there's every chance they could be real in this world.

[ Johnny's impressed. Most princesses he sees in the media are pretty vapid, happy to smile and wave at the camera and give birth like it's the most important thing in the world. And here one is, determined to make her way in life.

[ He inclines his head briefly. ] Ever wanted to find that out for yourself? You seem like the adventurous type.

[You'll find she's not like most of the other ~~Disney~~ princesses you know of, Johnny. Merida inclines her head in return, then laughs a little.]

If you'd arrived two months ago I would have gladly taken you up on that, Johnny. I might be learnin' fire magic but I'm not fire proof.

[ She's pretty when she laughs, and Johnny smiles at that. Maybe this Drabwurld thing isn't so bad after all, if there are girls like her around. Learning fire magic, huh? ]
