( Her progress in working out what her locket does is very much a WIP. Still, she has fiddled with it enough to activate whatever magic controls the moving images of people. This is in an invaluable tool in her eyes, because she has precisely the purpose to put such a resource to use. Keenly aware that appearances matter especially so upon making a first impression, she is dressed elegantly, and her hair is mostly left in loose waves, some cloth-of-gold ribbon threaded throughout. She keeps the look on her face pleasant, but cool.

There is no benefit for the time being in playing the fool, as she had at home. The warmth of her smile does not extend to her eyes, not yet. Instead they hold a light of curiosity, and a great amount of seriousness. Her awareness of the situation at hand is dim but for this: she is not dreaming. She has lost all, and stands to gain everything if she but works for it. Just as her father had won the throne of England: with smiles, charm and good business sense.

Her address, then, is an earnest one. )

Good day to you, one and all. I know not how many of you there are, or from whence you come. Yet if I may, I would humbly beg a favour, if you would be so gracious as to indulge me: your acquaintance.

Indeed, I would meet as many of you as might be possible. And, if you would be even more indulgent, information pertaining to the state of affairs in this land and abroad. I find myself possessed of a desire to know the full scope of things here ere I chart my course and navigate myself through whatever trials I may face here.

( Now, finally, the warmth enters her eyes. She has no choice; it would not do for all the land to bear witness to her grief. )

I am Elizabeth Plantagenet of England. It is my hope that I will be able to repay any kindness shown me sooner rather than later. I look forward to meeting and speaking with many of you!

Until then, farewell. Deus vobiscum.

...But you don't know him.

[The hopeful tone vanishes and leave disappointment, though he tries to hide it. If she is the daughter of the king, she would know him if she came from his world.]

England, the person.

[Digging around for what he knows about his appearance. Sweden told him... right.]

He has huge eyebrows.

He is a boy where I am from.

Sweden and Denmark told me about raiding his house.

[Which is not a nice memory because of the circumstances, but.. a sudden wave of loneliness still washes over him. There is a difference between not seeing another nation for years and knowing that there is no other nation to run into anywhere in the whole accessible world.]

I'm from the East, but here I am of the House of FΓ«anor.

[He has more of a parent here than he has back home, that is a change that he likes a lot. Even if that parent keeps having trouble staying alive due to his grief, he is still strong and safe and warm.]

I am not strong enough to have friends yet, but I will remember your offer for when I'm stronger.

[Let him wreck his brain for a moment, calling on the stories that he has been told...] They are from the far west, behind the ocean. But they arne't from America.

[Or at least he doubts that they are. Their world sounds too different.]

...But siblings and friends are different. [Or at least it has never occurred to him to think of his sisters as friends.]

I haven't seen it, either, but a man from the future told me about it. He said that it is very warm and large and they have lots of sunflowers there!

[He really wants to go and build himself a second house there one day, it sounds amazing.]

...I've never lived with my sisters. But I want to become stronger and build a big house for all of us one day, so that nobody has to be lonely anymore and we can all take care of each other. [He notices the tone but isn't sure what to do with it.] Did Mary die?

I bet there is a lot of space to build summer houses there, so maybe you can build for yourself too. ...I want to bring people from here home with me and then we can go there together in the summer and play in the sunflower fields.

[He's momentarily distracted by the imaginary, stretching his hands high up to describe better what he is talking about.] Sunflowers can be really tall, I've seen them in China's place! Taller than even the tallest man, even my lord father's eldest brother would be shorter than them!

And you can eat their seeds and they are really tasty. And good for you. China says that if I eat a lot of them I will get big and strong, but I'm not sure if it really works like that. I tried, and I'm no taller now than I was then... [He tilts his head in thought, his mind looping back to the rest of their conversation.] But I want to grow a lot of them and bring them back home. If they make children grow, they have to be good for everyone, and if people are eating well they won't die as easily. [Not that it will keep humans from dying entirely, but it at least makes it less likely.]
