i don't care about the war. i don't care about the courts. my shard says i'm unseelie, but i didn't ask to be. i won't fight someone just because somebody else tells me to. the only thing i care about is keeping my friends safe, and keeping my home safe, and right now that's Cothromach. why is that a bad thing now?

[ "now" because of how things are shifting, how the sides matter more than when she first got here, and when she first moved from caer scima, to the mountains. which no, she doesn't realize it's not the other shardbearers' faults ( not completely ), but it's noticeable in a way it wasn't before. she's mostly just curious what changed, and annoyed that her loyalties are being questioned over something she has/had no control over. so yeah! obviously confronting the lockets about it is the Best Idea Ever! malia tate, everybody. ]

I think it would be a wonderful thing.
What Bran - and the other Starks, though they have not embraced it - can do is marvelous. Considered strange and quite scary.
But you can do something very amazing.

yes. i guess so. i'm the only werecoyote where i'm from too. i think. i like hunting with summer. and i like that it's not weird that i'm friends with both of them. i think i'd fit in better where you're from than where i'm from.

There could be others. Bran had thought he was alone until we met one another.
Summer, I find, is very good company to those that he likes.
But I imagine hunting with him is far more exciting when you can keep up with him.
Which is you can do, and you can run with us just as well. So I don't see why anyone would find it odd.
Westeros and the Drabwurld are not so unlike, even with this war between courts. Less fairies and imps, though.

There are many willing and unwilling fighters in Westeros. Typically in equal measure.
My skills are not for battle, though, and few where I come from trust or believe those with them.

maybe. i don't know if she even knows me. she could be here already and i wouldn't know. i guess peter would. but maybe not. it's stupid. they don't trust people that can fight? or people with skills like yours?

I'm what we call a greenseer. We can see the past, present, and future through visions in dreams. It's usually an ability held by people that the Westerosi are often at odds with, but Bran and I both have it. It could be useful in war - will be, if it means I may protect those in this keep - but it does not stop the distrust, nor the fear.

If I ever see something that could help you on your quest, I will most assuredly share it with you.

why would people be scared of you because of that? unless you made a virgin sacrifice to get your power.

But, no, I was not one of them. The fear comes from the unknown.
The sight came from nearly dying.
