why is that a bad thing now?

I respect your choice. The right to that choice is a core tenant of the Unseelie. I also fight to protect my friends and my home, but I know that should the Seelie win this war, all of that will be destroyed. As will your own world and those of your friends. To me, that fact drives me to raise my sword and lead the Unseelie in defense of all existence.

But I have not responded to attempt to influence your decision. It is your own. Though should there come a time when your existence as an Unseelie shardbearer puts either you or those you defend in grave danger, know that I will see you safely back to Unseelie lands and fight off the Seelie High-King's dogs to ensure you have the chance to continue to live.
