[ The message that comes across the network is abrupt, as though the sender thought about sending it and simply did with no further thought. ]

I wish to learn more of the magic of your worlds, of this world. Not only how it works but how to use it.

I can offer a trade, should you require it.

[ After a moment, there's an addendum: ]

If you do not wish to discuss such things over the lockets, dedicate a shrine to the Outsider. I will know. We will speak there.

Yes. So far, every time we've been separated, we've found each other and set things right, somehow. So I'm sure he will come. Or I'll make it back to him.

Of course. But True Love is just a much more powerful and stronger feeling of all of that. It creates happiness. I'm not sure how else to descibe it, exactly.

I've gone into traps for him the same he has for me. We've both risked our lives for the other. Though, as far as morality goes, yes. We have both killed. Though for him that's mostly applicable to monsters. Ogres and dragons and the like.

[And with Cora. But Snow herself takes responsibility on that, trying to make amends.]

I doubt our lovelife is all that different from most. We have our issues the same as any other couple. But we make it work. I was willing to lie to his face about my feelings if it meant he would live as his pretend father threatened to kill him if I didn't. So he would get over me and marry another to save their kingdom. Of course, we ended up marrying anyway. Even if this isn't the most traditional coupling given our history. Our honeymoon was spent taking down Medusa. Take that as you will.

I know because of how intensely I feel about him. How much I trust him when I was in a place where I rarely if ever trusted anyone when I first met him. It's hard to explain.

Medusa. Turns people to stone with her stare. I know, not that most traditional or romantic of honeymoons but. I felt it needed to be done at the time for various reasons.

Other loves aren't so strong. So powerful to break curses. I'm not sure how else to describe it unless you have it too. But it doesn't just have to be between romantic love. I've seen other cases, where a mother's love for her child broke one curse with True Love.

Nothing as far as I could really tell. They were spread around her place as statues. Freed after I killed her.

I'm not a magic user. You'd have to ask them that create said curses. But probably they can't stop that little detail because good will always win.

It might seem so to you. But I'm just trying to explain how our magic, or what I know of it, how it works back home in comparison. I'm not even one that actually studied it properly the way others had. My stepmother, for one.

Somehow that isn't too surprising. And I haven't gone into being cursed to a land without magic for 28 years. It's all rather complicated, to say the least.

Something like that? Although the ability to traverse them isn't common. Portals between worlds are difficult, to say the least. The first I experienced such was through a curse that sent us to a land without magic and where we couldn't leave that town, lost our memories of who we were back home.
