[Anyone who knows Lancelot will likely as not be immediately surprise that he is sending any kind of message that is written. It is hardly one of his strengths. Still, the message is short, and this way devoid of emotion. Which is best, considering the topic. ]

For those who knew him Faolan is no longer with us.

He sacrificed himself for the sake of a friend.

So far as I understand he will be returned, in some days, by the power of the courts.

He will need space and kindness.

I'm sorry. He sounds like a very selfless and brave man. I can't recall if I remember mention of people being 'returned' though, but then I am one of the newer arrivals in comparison. That must be powerful magic.

The monarchs are the strongest source of magic I know of in this land. I imagine little is impossible to them. They have healed me before. I trust them to heal my friend.

I see. Sounds like it's best to stay on their good side then. I wasn't really sure what happened if we were to die in this war of theirs. But I suppose it would make sense if they want us to keep fighting, that they would be able to do this. I imagine that's very powerful magic. Not something possible back home at least. Though it appears that isn't such a restriction here if what you're saying is true.

So far as I understand even those who could not wield magic at home can do so here. Perhaps because there is so much of it in this world.

So if I wanted to, I could? I imagine it would take a lot of time and practice. But I could be wrong and just thinking about studying magic back home. It might be something to consider, at least.

I have known others who did. Should it interest you the library have plenty of books on the topic of magic.

Might look into it, yeah. Not that some of it might necessarily make the most sense to me when I've never studied or used it before. But you never know. If this magic doesn't have a price like back home and I could use it to help protect people, I shouldn't write it off so easily. Not without trying to look into it.

For a price or how easy it is to learn I could not say. Perhaps Dorian Gray or Kaldur might help you? They neither of them knew magic before yet learnt it here through research.

Through studying it? Perhaps. It's worth at least a try to talk to them about the idea. Thank you.

Of course. The lockets are pretty useful like that. Back in the Enchanted Forest I just used birds to deliver messages. But obviously that took time. We did have phones in Storybrooke which I guess would be the closest I can think of. But I'll definitely let you know if I have any more questions.
