[The post is open to both Seelie and Unseelie, only because Pod hasn't figured out locking yet (or, honestly, think it necessary). Pod appears on the lockets, surrounded by linen strips that she's rolling into tight rolls.]

I have been hard at work to make things for the army heading out. Wound wash and liniments and bandages, but all my work does not make enough. Not a job for one, this, so I thought, perhaps, that there might be others that would like to lend their time to the task and work with me.

I am also running low on some herbs I need. I would be most grateful if someone knew where else to find them in winter.

[She smiles and bows her head.]

If someone would like to join me, I am in one of the rooms in Caer Glaem that seem set aside for tasks such as these and can send directions. Or if someone would like to stop by and help by delivering them to those in need, that would also be a fine thing.

I will keep an eye out for those herbs. Where can I find you when I find something?

I have been at Caer Glaem, and I don't think I will be leaving until I've finished making all I can. If I do leave, I aim to travel to Cothromach.

I do keep it with me, though I'm not yet used to checking it regularly. I am getting better at remembering, though.

They are very silly little things.

Certainly something new to grow used to! But they do have their uses.

[Oh, they definitely have. He nods with a happy smile.]

You can talk to people even when you are alone.

[wolvering]

And no matter how far away from them you are!

But everyone else will hear what you are saying if they want to.

[That is kind of a problem. ....and no, he doesn't know about locking messages and privacy settings yet.]

Well, I think that if you wish to speak with only one person it goes to only them. And if you want to just speak to whoever will listen, anyone can.

[Pod isn't sure of this, but only the person she'd asked to speak to responded when she tried that!]

...You tell the locket a name?

[wolvering]

I asked it to bring my words and image to who I wanted to speak to, and he answered, so if that is not the proper way to do it, at least it was one that worked.

I will try it.

[And with that he ends the feed, but he'll private call her a couple of days later.]

When are you free so that I can deliver the herbs that I found?

[Her reply is prompt.]

Hello again! I am currently in Caer Glaem. Are you near there?

I can take a break from my task at any time.

[muscovy]

My lord father can bring me.

[It being nighttime and all, dadtaxi is ready. He'll just have to walk the last bit alone because dadtaxi is... Unseelie and rather openly opposed to both queens.]

I can be anywhere in an hour.

[wolvering]

[She thinks for a moment. In case he isn't welcome in the castle, maybe she shouldn't invite him into danger. She never did ask if he was Seelie.]

I can meet you at the edge of the woods, if you like, so you don't have to come as far! I can be there in an hour easily.

The edge of the woods in the direction of the the fairy cycle.

[He'll be there, a small boy in colours neither Seelie nor Unseelie, though a cloak and a scarf covers most of him. He carries a small bundle with him and simply... stands at the edge of the woods, looking towards the castle.]

[Pod doesn't bother to respond. She just heads out to the appointed spot, arriving a minute or two before the hour is up.]

[She comes forward the rest of the way when she sees him, the wolverine at her side keeping an easy pace in the snow.]

I want to thank you for going to this trouble for me.

[muscovy]

[He did not expect the wolverine and it takes all his will to remain where he is and not look nervous (he succeeds for the most part, but the wolverine will still be able to, over something that is distinctly not human, smell fear).]

It took a while but it is winter, so there is not much else that I could collect, yes?

[Not that it is strictly necessary - they could eat even without him contributing - but he still tries to do what he would do back home to find food and put up little traps when they stay in the same place for longer.

And if you help someone one time, maybe they will want to help you the next, that is a thing, too.]

[Pod smiles gently, able to guess that this... boy? feels uncomfortable around Kiga. Many do.]

And for that, I know you gave extra effort, and I thank you again. Even a little bit is useful. If you ever need something that I can help with, call, and I will do my best.

[Kiga comes forward to get a better sniff, and Pod smiles indulgently.]

And don't fear Kiga. He knows his manners.

[Muscovy is standing his ground, but he's starting to shake when the wolverine comes closer, scared tears forming in the corners of his eyes despite his best attempts. Don't show fear but he's been alone in the woods at the end of cold winters one time too often to not have everything inside him scream RUN at him.]

I will remember it.

...do you know how to become stronger here? [It's an off chance, but she clearly is strong enough to tame a wolf, at least to a degree, so she must be strong.]

[wolvering]

[Kiga whines at the fear, and backs up immediately, not sure why this human is so afraid. Humans aren't prey, and this one isn't threatening his person or his food...

Pod, giving a concerned look at Muscovy, hushes Kiga and runs her fingers through his fur for a moment.]

The answer would depend in part on what kind of things you wish to become stronger at. Do you mean martial strength, like a soldier, or strength and skill in a craft?

Strength that makes you able to keep friends.

[He relaxes when Kiga backs up, only a little bit instantly but slowly more.]

[wolvering]

[Pod smiles.]

That is as much kindness and honor as anything else. Be kind, and when you give your word, keep it. Pay attention too; no one likes to be ignored, even on accident. And even if you have to travel away from them for a little while, sending messages back to tell them you think of them even with the distance goes a long way.

[At least, those are the best things about her relationship with Conor, even if he can't always keep to the last part. But here, with the lockets, that shouldn't be a problem.]

[It doesn't really sound like what he is looking for, but he nods anyway. If she can have such a dangerous animal at her side, she needs to hold some kind of power, so there must be at least some use in her words.]

I will send messages then, and pay attention to people.

[He does think that he is kind and holds his word already. He's better at keeping his word than almost all other people around him, just not as destructive about it as Maglor.]
