Phew...the throne room sure is a nerve-racking place, huh? I thought I was gonna have a heart attack or something...

Anyway, I had a little talk with the king...reul? He's got a really interesting name, I almost thought he was gonna be someone else. I wanted to know what they were actually fighting for here...but, uh, he's really intense, it was so hard to focus. He said something about a true end, and the seelie have something to do with it? I've been thinking about it since then this whole time...

[And pretending to be an easily intimidated teenager sure is a handy excuse to not mention anything else she was told.]

So I was wondering, anyone know what the deal with that is? Has anyone asked the Seelie monarchs something like that? I'd be interested in hearing what they have to say, especially their involvement with something so sinister sounding.

I guess I just don't wanna end up helping the bad guys by mistake.

[Not that she genuinely believes life's so easily divided into black and white, but she'll get some amusement out of it if someone tries giving the whole "good and evil are subjective" lecture to her of all people.]

I guess most people would make the argument murder in general's not good, but...your analogy with the wolf would make them look pretty hypocritical. Everyone kills to survive, right?

Not everyone. People often kill for other reasons, like pride or for the person they love. ...Although I suppose if you look at animals and their mating habits, it is not so different.

What do I think of what? The war or this True End thing?

Hah, that answer...it's a good one, you know? But society moved away from that kind of thinking. They think murder's unacceptable no matter why you do it. Ah, but if you commit something they consider heinous enough, they might kill you themselves! Although not everywhere, but some countries do.

[But yeah, can't say she disagrees with the way Grainne thinks. As far as Lucifer is concerned that's the only way to settle things; weak die, strong live, kill everyone you want to. Just accept responsibility if it makes you more enemies in the long run.]

Both? Let's start with the war part. Seems easier.

[Grainne is a product of her time and from a place where certain religions had not yet touched, where humans were more closely familiar with death and the other realities of life that the modern peoples try to shield themselves from. People died when they are killed no matter what they did. In some ways, modern humans created their own realm where they could believe whatever they wanted within the world at large; at least that is what she would think if given enough information on how they live.]

The war... As for the war, it is completely ridiculous. They fight for power and have been for hundreds of years, and they already have so much they can rip others out of their own realms.

Iiiiiii wouldn't say that...Order and Chaos go at it all the time. Sometimes it ends in the blink of an eye, others, we're talking longer than some planets even live.

If they're really fighting for what they say they are - not that I'm saying I believe then 100% or anything - it's necessary.
