[dawn has a fairly mixed expression of boredom and restlessness when the feed first turns on. see it's already been two weeks since her arrival and while she was initially nervous or otherwise cautious of all her surroundings and activity on the network at first, she's at the point where the boredom is unbearable.

so it's time to take matters into her own hands and find something fun to do. drabwurld, ready for some q&a?]

Okay, okay. I like that we can walk around freely and don't have to pay a dime for bed and breakfast or even some large bill for talking to people on this magical locket - but there's more fun things to do around here than that, right?

[she pauses, but then she feels she should elaborate further just in case.]

Stuff that teenagers do, I mean. Less mid evil training for fun and more twenty first century fun, like the places to shop or video games or whatever. Anything at all?

[uh, wow. for as smart as she is, it still takes a moment to put a mental image to the description.]

I - I think I got it. I must be north somewhere, Caer Glaem is south and seelie territory... and what's a fairy ring?

I do not know much of the Unseelie territory in the North, though I have been there but once. [Where she tried to help out a prisoner intended for unjustified execution. She had to flee for her life, and that was when she visited the Station.]

There is a map. It was given to me when I arrived.

A faerie ring is how many people travel. For some time there was only travel by horse unless one had some sort of power. They require a shard to use them, and there are some that have established some off the map.

[Oh yes, the map. She already told another girl she lost it and is not going to bring it up again.]

Well, at least it sounds pretty useful since we're stuck here against our wills and all. The part where you can travel using them instead of horses to get from A to B, that is.

If you wish to get there faster, yes. Though much of this land is beautiful, and I've only seen a small portion.

[Though she longs to travel again.]

Yeah, faster is better. Though I'm more of a get there quickly sort of girl 'cause long trips usually mean getting lost or...other equally bad things.
