Good day.

I'm afraid a mistake has been made. As I understand it, it's the Seelie court which should seek my loyalty, and yet I have found myself among the Unseelie. I intend no offence to members of either court, nor disloyalty to the court I have been placed with, yet it is a perplexity. Simply put, I am left to wonder if this was indeed the intent and there has been no confusion, or if my own confusion is sound. It's...troubling, for reasons I apologise for not detailing.

Similarly, I'm looking for a friend, most likely among the Seelie, if present. He's about seventeen, Japanese, and you'll know him for a foolish innocence and investment in justice. Better still, being terribly easily flustered.

[Giving a name would be better, and it does make it apparent this friend is his Master, to anyone in the know, but it is still even just a little bit safer to keep Tatsumi's name secret. He can't jeopardise the boy's safety.]

Ah, one more thing. I'm a doctor, therefore if anyone is ever in need of medical attention, I am always available, particularly for those outside the courts who may not have access to their infirmaries. I should note, however, my practice may not be up-to-date for some. Although I do promise I don't suck. [He laughs lightly.] -That's right, a name would be helpful, wouldn't it? I suppose it's best to continue with Berserker for now, although I am aware there is another by the name. If that name holds meaning to you, I believe it's important we speak. Perhaps more privately.

If it is to be taken as an insult to any, then I would mean for it to insult humans. For in truth, we do make such assumptions, and view ourselves so highly.

It's related to my title, a skill granted to me as a summoned spirit, based upon common interpretation of my story. I couldn't say exactly what the form is, I only know it to be animalistic based upon the reactions of others and my own actions.

Any form of control is questionable, as in that state, my ability to think and to speak, reason is lost, driven almost exclusively by instinct. Although certainly the instincts of Jekyll are far from the instincts of Hyde, and so it is unmistakably governed by Hyde.

One would assume, and normally, would be correct. The skillset it falls under should be reserved for emergency. For me, however, it is the only option for battle among others like myself. It's quite the trouble.

I would say it can't have been that effective if you noticed, but I did get away with it for rather a long time.

It would be rude to simply change the subject without reason, much less when being questioned! I can't deny my interest, however...

Even so, such considerations don't usually stop most people from doing it if they want to.

You said something about altering your body's chemistry...? I find that fascinating, how is it done? It sounds as if it must be more than simply a sudden change through magic.

Tenpenka. It's a ninja art. I can reshape my cells as needed. That is what I am doing now - although of course because the cells are being reshaped, they will eventually misalign, collapse, and die. However, since I can't die, as long as I can get through the pain I can do whatever I please with it.

It's useful for speaking with humans.

You mean to say there is a sort of time limit to remain as you are?

No, not at all. I can hold this for a long time.

Normal humans who use the art will die from it, though. That's all I meant to say. It is not something I would teach to others for that reason.

The bird wanted to speak to humans, to have a human body. And we found a way to do that, so we learned it.
