[ There must have been another feast. Word of it has traveled to her ears as well as talk for a hunt. Both are events that draw some concern, but don't affect her goals, therefore they are better ignored. What she could do is make an attempt to reach out to shardholders, old and new, and possibly make a bit of coin in doing so. That's why when she greets everyone, it's with a pleasantly polite smile and the decor of the Castle Mair behind her. ]

What a busy month. Are they all like that? [ She waves a hand as she speaks as if to brush off the topic. ] It may have gone unnoticed, but as the Master of Archer it's only proper to inform you that he took his leave earlier last month of this world. If he had any debts, you may approach me with proof of this and I will conclude his business.

Speaking of paying off debts, my workshop is ready to take costumers. My specialty is conversion magic as well as command over all five of the elements. [ Her expression is rehearsed and composed, much like a teacher addressing a class full of idiots. ] In short, I can do a number of things many others don't advertise they can do. It seems pointless to keep my status as a magus here a secret when the world is surrounded by magic. Though it would be nice to learn something useful like shooting a bow...

[ She mutters that last part. ]

Well, magic's easy enough to spot.[ He points towards his eyes with an amused look. Notably, his arms are covered in flower tattoos that move and change color as he does so. ] No one's going to deny a mage, but I wouldn't go off spouting what all you can do exactly.

[ It's a friendly warning, though not a malicious one. He doesn't trust people who knows he's a plant mage if they can find a way to use it. And his sister, Tris, got hounded for war magic all the time. ]

[ So this is how she was towards others a month ago? Kind of vexing, but at least she had a reason behind her paranoia. ]

Certain magic is. I can clearly see what you're capable of.

Why the markings? A conversation starter or something else-?

[plantboy]

[In some ways that's alarming. He was used to people being able to see magic, that part wasn't, but ambient magic wasn't something people understood let alone saw.]

Is that so?

[The smile's faintly amused as he draws his hands back.] An unwelcome conversation starter. I decided for a little change and used my sister's magekit to do so. This is the result.

[gandere]

You should have known better than to go through your sister's belongings. [ She teases, unaware if this stranger's markings were intentional or not. ]

It isn't a bad result, but one that's certainly going to be commented on every time you communicate using a visual representation.

[plantboy]

I'm not very good at listening. Besides I thought they were only regular sewing needles.

[And certainly not the ones that she used for magic, but he should have realized. Sandry's magic was weaving and all that came with it, so any equipment would have been. He grins lightly, looking amused.]

You say that as if it hasn't been my life for the past four years. Sometimes you just have to tell them it doesn't hurt and shove past them to get them to mind their own nebs.

Oh, you're pointing out how rude I'm being-! I should have minded my manners, you're right.

[ Laughing it off. ] Say, those patterns do remind me that I'm on the hunt for specific herbs. You wouldn't happen to have heard about where someone can find something like that here, have you?

It must come up in conversation a lot.

[plantboy]

[The grin is wolfish.] It's not just you, you know. I've heard those remarks hundreds more times than I'd like.

Ah. [He tilts his head.] If you can see magic that answer is easy. I know where plants are usually, but I've only been here a few days. Where here is a different story entirely, but I can find them.

[gandere]

You can just find them? What is that--an affinity for nature or something else?

[ He spoke of magic and caught her interest, now he has it secured with talk of seeking out things unknown to her. ]
