It could depend greatly, couldn't it? Upon the words to which they return. And who they return with. [ lady sansa is no longer undercover. she is no longer alayne. she can speak (more freely) upon such matters than she ever could before. ] I don't fear confessing that these lands have their advantages. The brothers and sisters of my house are more reunited here than they may ever be in our own...world.

If we're fortunate. Shorter winters are nicer to have and I admit I'm not looking forward to trying to stay warm in a world that fails to have electrical heating.

[ An odd thing to hear said out loud, but there must be a reason behind it. Coming from a country or a world where winter lasted a long time seems a good enough explanation for the magus. ]

If they do, why is it only at the station and nowhere else? If the means to do it in one area exists, I don't understand why the Shardholders before us have failed in integrating it throughout the world.

So because they don't want something to exist beyond an area, no one has been able to make it happen? I suppose if those creatures are capable of abducting us, then they are capable of tearing down our power lines.

[ Quickly adding: ] That's how the electricity flows between things-through lines held up usually by poles or buried underground.

They must take an awful lot of labour to arrange.
