I find it's always the fifth element that loses people whereas the first four seem to be present in every world.

Ah yes, those four definitely hold a certain level of elevation over others.

Though when you say conversion magic, how so? I apologise if it sounds like it should be obvious, but sounds like that could mean a lot of different things, depending.

The transfer to energy into objects and vice versa. Removing magical power from an artifact and placing it elsewhere or storing energy within a gem to have it explode on impact are the basics of it. Applying strengthening to a sword so that it doesn't break easily is another example.

Sometimes I need to get a little bit creative with it, but the results are always remarkable.

You sound pretty confident in your abilities. [Flora's voice is amiable, more making an observation than anything, but good for her.]

That does sound very useful, though. [She pauses, thoughtfully.] Are you the one acting as the conduit when moving energies, or do you use a medium?

It's like that. My body can sustain it and transfer if need be.

I suppose it's because of the way the ciruits flow throughout that I can do that. Usually I just create the energy myself and store it.

Circuits? Like magical circuits? [This sounds so much like Tecna's thing.]

Geez, I don't know why they're called circuits either since that seems to be a more technical term than an accurate one.

Ah, I didn't mean to offend. One of my best friends is a cyborg, and she'd pass for human. You can't just tell these things by looking sometimes, you know?

[ She didn't really take too much offense to it, just that she has an eternal struggle with all things electronic. To think of herself like that would only unnerve her! ]

Well, I mean different than I've heard a lot of people having. I'm sure there are others I haven't met yet here, but I've still only talked to one person who was familiar with interstellar travel, in that it existed and was accessible back home for him, too.

But, I'm from a place called the Magical Dimension. Linphea, specifically.

The Magical Dimension? [ It sounds so... cheesy. Who would just outright call something the Magical Dimension? More importantly, what was so magical about it? Was it the dimension itself or the inhabitants?? ]

That sounds like something from a fairy tale. At least this Linphea sounds more like the name of a town.

[YEAH, HAHA, ABOUT THE FAIRY PART OF THOSE TALES....
