2nd libretto | video | both courts

You guys think it's over? That was scary. [ Like, really, really scary, but she found a bit of inner strength. Plus, a few new acquaintances. Plus, if she focuses on little things like that, she won't be overwhelmed by how terrifying this universe really is. So, after taking time to fix her hair and look relatively presentable, she's addressing both courts. ]

I just wanted to know if everyone was okay--I mean, not just in seelie, but everyone. It was kind of nice, being united together to work on that whole thing. I just wish the end wasn't so terrifying.

Right! So, I wanted to bring up a few things. Everyone has a shard in us, right? And sometimes when people disappear they leave their shards, but what are the shards a greater part of? A big crystal, or jewel? Where is it? Why do we have them, anyway?

Oh, and also, does anyone around the Seelie court know about herbs and stuff? I only know about tea, not about mending people, and I'd really like to do that better. I'll work really hard, promise! Even if you can only teach me like, 20 minutes every day, I'll study really well.

[ She would have to know who Coach Bolton was to determine whether or not they would be an acceptable substitute in the fairy world. She bites her tongue on that (to everyone's surprise) and chooses to address the other thing. ]

I know a lot of things. [ Note how she doesn't specifically answer the question. ]

Oh, you're able to heal people because of a boon? [ Maybe they aren't that useless after all... ]

If you're good at organizing, that could be handy. Not in the way you're probably thinking, but compiling information in neat forms could help those during crucial times. [ She gives a quick gasp. ] Going off topic there, sorry.

I know of some herbs and potion brewing, though there are people here who have better experience with it. What I have learned has been passed down for hundreds of years and some steps for efficiency have been lost along the way. You'd do better finding someone who is familiar with what's available in the world and go from there.

[ Does Rin Tohsaka look like someone who knows about basketball? It's baseball she enjoys. Mostly hitting the balls with a giant bat... ]

Yes, something like that. [ Hey now, she's not going to risk looking like an idiot so time to go with the flow. ]

Information is crucial and valuable in a world like this. Trading it for what you need can fetch you more than skills usually.

Books are especially valuable since libraries seem to catch on fire mysteriously. [ Grumble, grumble. ]

Even know basic secrets like what is stocked at the Station or where one might be able to find something can be traded off.

[ What's with this girl and her scattered thoughts? Rin wants to suggest that she makes a list of the things she can offer others, then ask herself after which of the items on said list seem beneficial in a war-torn zone… it seems mean to do that though. So she holds her tongue. ]

A pumpkin spice latte? [ Let's go with that. ]
