2nd libretto | video | both courts
You guys think it's over? That was scary. [ Like, really, really scary, but she found a bit of inner strength. Plus, a few new acquaintances. Plus, if she focuses on little things like that, she won't be overwhelmed by how terrifying this universe really is. So, after taking time to fix her hair and look relatively presentable, she's addressing both courts. ]
I just wanted to know if everyone was okay--I mean, not just in seelie, but everyone. It was kind of nice, being united together to work on that whole thing. I just wish the end wasn't so terrifying.
Right! So, I wanted to bring up a few things. Everyone has a shard in us, right? And sometimes when people disappear they leave their shards, but what are the shards a greater part of? A big crystal, or jewel? Where is it? Why do we have them, anyway?
Oh, and also, does anyone around the Seelie court know about herbs and stuff? I only know about tea, not about mending people, and I'd really like to do that better. I'll work really hard, promise! Even if you can only teach me like, 20 minutes every day, I'll study really well.

[ The young composer is one of Sif's people now so she's just going to have to get used to being looked after because that is pretty much what Sif does.
She's not quite as fine as she's saying, but she'll get over it. She's gotten over all the stuff that the dogs dragged up from her mind before, she can do it again.
Kelsi might have caught the network show about it though so if she has any questions... well, Sif might answer them. (cw: violence, death) ]

[ Yeah, she saw it. She saw it and proceeded to freak out a little bit. ]

I would never wish for you to be anything but honest. As I said, I am fine.
[ She's really not though. She's coping but that's not really the same thing, is it? ]
There is no reason for you to worry.

[For a moment he stops in dictating - yes, all of that was scary, and on his own part, no, he's not quite fine - shaken up, in a couple of places, and therefore distracted, but. Carrying on.]
It included the history of the shards, if you would like me to tell it to you as it was described.

Do you want to meet up somewhere?
Text.
If you would wish it, then certainly.
If you are of the Seelie court, I was given a boon which can allow me to come to your side, if I would have the privilege to use your name.
If that can't be done, or, if, even if it wouldn't be ideal [Why did it transcribe that, it reads terribly - ] then I will wait for you wherever you choose.
Text.
Are you sure this is okay, though? Since you're unseelie and I'm seelie?
[ why didn't you ask that before gj kels ]

[ She's only this stern in order to help the clearly younger woman. ]

All right, so why not offer an exchange of goods? If you can do things, offer your services in return for being taught. It isn't as if we all get to attend school here and learn what is appropriate from teachers--no such thing exists in this world.

[ Maybe a little mean to Troy's dad, but holy moly, is that a scary guy when he gets mad about basketball. ]
Do you know anything about this? I can trade!

[ Maybe a little too descriptive. Oh well--Katsa's talking to her, it's hard not to be perky and enthusiastic. ]
I'm alright. I'm a little excited, to be honest.

I noticed that about him. And I've certainly done that to cope, too. What's so exciting?

Maybe you could help me and then we could find someone who could help both of us with this stuff?

Grainne. And that would be nice, though I know enough that you likely will be kept busy for months, if not years. [She offers a gentle smile.] The healing arts are not something you should rush through.

[Herself included, though she won't say it. Instead, she just gives the girl a soft smile.]
Perhaps you could help me with something in return. I have been meaning to see what healing properties the wild plants of this land hold in comparison to the ones from home. It would take quite a bit of time, but it would be a great opportunity for you to learn.

I'm really good at organizing. I organized the whole ochestra pit and conducted them, so maybe that would help with the herbs?
video »
The look shifts slightly at the mention of an orchestra pit, though she does not let it distract her. It was something she could inquire about later.]
And I'm sure it will be more than adequate when it comes to organization. Though at first there will be more research than organization.

whoops....]
I may actually be bringing several books on herbs up out of the ruins, actually, now that the whole business with those dogs is over and everything seems to have calmed down on that front.
As for the shards, though... that's an intriguing question, and one I wish to know more about. I've heard some things, but not enough to know whether it's true or not.

[ accept the fact that this highschooler wants to meet up for coffee. Accept it. ]

[is this the part where he mentally just throws up his hands in the air and wonders what all his life has become
because there it is, it's finally happened]
I'll... let you know when I get some of them and we can discuss it then.
