[There's some hesitation at first, unsure if the locket is working, but with a small sound from the imp beside her, she adjusts. The image is no longer one of the stars and boughs of the trees overhead but resting on the face of a weary elf. A weight had been lifted off of her with her arrival, though the chill still remained - seeming to radiate from within.]

Mae govannen [(Well met)], these creatures informed me I am in the Drabwurld just beyond the Unseelie castle. They do not seem to be able to tell me how I might return home. It is imperative that I do not linger here, my father will worry.

[Among others, though he would be first to notice her absence. It could be a terrible distraction from the war, causing worry when it was unnecessary - even cause a horrible loss. That could not happen - no on her account.]

Goheno nin [(Forgive me)], but I must return to Imladris at once. You seem to have powerful enough magic to bring me to your world, surely it could not be such a hardship to return me home. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

[And with that the locket closes, uneasy eyes searching the forests for an unseen danger - far too accustomed to things like orcs roaming in the night. The sooner she could be returned home, the better.]

[ To see the Undómiel alive and whole, as much as ever he remembers her, Thranduil is immediately reminded of the death of her eldest, Eldarion, back in Middle-Earth only recently the same year as he has now passed into the Drabwurld for the second time. The land seemed darker already without Aragorn and Arwen, and now that their child is gone too to leave only their grandchildren it seems highly likely the Elves of Ithilien will be returning to Eryn Lasgalen, the last homestead for the Eldar with Lorien abandoned in dying disrepair. Thranduil has not mentioned this to anyone, he does not intend to, yet nostalgia surges within him at the mere sight of Arwen's face. ]

Undómiel. [ He inclines his head respectfully, eager to keep his gaze upon her. Fascination runs rife behind his eyes that she has been called forth by the Unseelie, albeit not surprise. ] Are you in need of anything? I am your servant.

[ Gracious as he would be back home, Thranduil offers her a fond smile. ]

[ Her weariness comes across clearly, gaining a gentle smile of understanding. ]

That is good news, indeed. [ He nods obligingly. ] Yes, Legolas is here, yet he currently slumbers in an enchanted sleep at Caer Glaem. This occurs upon occasion to people seemingly at random, we do not know why. He will be glad to see you, once he awakens.

[ Thranduil does not entertain the notion of if. ]

I will let you know the moment he awakens and I am made aware of it in turn, likely I shall return to Caer Glaem when my business is done, one way or another.

[ He considers how to answer. ]

Legolas told me I had been gone two full moons when I recently arrived back in the Drabwurld. I remembered it, all of what had passed the first time I had come here, when the fairies approached me for a second time. I came back because I recalled I had a son here who might need me. [ And lo and behold, he was right. ] When my memories returned as I laid eyes upon the fae, I realised ten years had passed on Ennor.

Time flows strangely here, Arwen.

There is little one misses with the Fëanorians.

[ Muttering that as an aside, he returns to the point. ]

The High-King and High-Queen of Caer Glaem, I once knew their like; in Menegroth, Thingol's lady-love bore the same radiance. Melian was fairer still, though Ridire and Solais hold a great light that shines from within.

I liken them to Maiar ... or more.

[ Valar, perhaps, yet the possibility of them being en par with the actual Valar is frightening. ]
