The image is no longer one of the stars and boughs of the trees overhead but resting on the face of a weary elf. A weight had been lifted off of her with her arrival, though the chill still remained - seeming to radiate from within.]

Mae govannen [(Well met)], these creatures informed me I am in the Drabwurld just beyond the Unseelie castle. They do not seem to be able to tell me how I might return home. It is imperative that I do not linger here, my father will worry.

[Among others, though he would be first to notice her absence. It could be a terrible distraction from the war, causing worry when it was unnecessary - even cause a horrible loss. That could not happen - no on her account.]

Goheno nin [(Forgive me)], but I must return to Imladris at once. You seem to have powerful enough magic to bring me to your world, surely it could not be such a hardship to return me home. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

[And with that the locket closes, uneasy eyes searching the forests for an unseen danger - far too accustomed to things like orcs roaming in the night. The sooner she could be returned home, the better.]

What lurks in these woods?

[A question she's not certain she wants to ask, but she needed further clarification as to what vermin she was attempting evade.]

[ funny story, the vermin he was talking of is actually the imps but hey he didn't clarify that at all. whoops. he sniffs, his horse nickering uneasily. ]

Beasts and spirits, the sort that should not be encountered unarmed.

[She responds with a small sound of distaste. She did not like this, though few would. She had to have faith that she would reach safety - or what could be construed as safe until Maglor arrived.

What she would give to have a horse right now.

She murmurs a curse in elvish under her breath as there's another noise, nearer than before.]

I believe I'm getting closer.

[ the curse is foreign to his ears but he recognizes it as such, he snorts amused. the frustration he can understand, he would be feeling similar if their positions were reversed. ]

If you haven't any blades on you, a sharp rock will suffice. [ you know, just in case. ]

[She would laugh if the situation weren't so dire, reminiscent of the logic of her brothers.]

I hope I will not need it.

[Though she does stop to pick one up just to be safe. If it came to that, she's not certain how she would fair, far more skilled with a blade or a bow than hand to hand combat. She gives a small nod at the small creature by her side as she returns to her former speed.]

Be swift Arwen and you will not need it.

[ the rock she picks is a good one, sharp enough to bring great discomfort and pain to anything that dares to attack, and it brings him a measure of comfort. ]

Send word when you are safe.

I shall.

[And with that pushes forth, barely making it to the gatehouse when the first orc shows its face in the forest. After a less than pleasant escort to her room, she waits - sending him a quick response.]

I am safe. Maglor is on his way and will be taking me to the Station after a stop, I believe.

[ if she were better armed he would have urged her to slay the orc, but alas. he continues on his own journey for a time until she sends him another message, the background of his image changed. ]

Maglor. [ iorveth files the name away in memory. ] Is he known to you?

He is known to my father in my homeland.

[She did not want to necessarily divulge his history as that would not lend itself to dissuading any concern, choosing a simpler description in that hopes that it would suffice.]

My mother and grandmother both trust him here.

[ it is enough, it seems, to settle the concerns that flit about the back of his mind. ]

I hope their trust is not misplaced.

[If it were not one who had raised her father, the trust would be easily questioned knowing their history. And yet -]

I do not believe so.

[Though caution would be exercised.]
