The image is no longer one of the stars and boughs of the trees overhead but resting on the face of a weary elf. A weight had been lifted off of her with her arrival, though the chill still remained - seeming to radiate from within.]

Mae govannen [(Well met)], these creatures informed me I am in the Drabwurld just beyond the Unseelie castle. They do not seem to be able to tell me how I might return home. It is imperative that I do not linger here, my father will worry.

[Among others, though he would be first to notice her absence. It could be a terrible distraction from the war, causing worry when it was unnecessary - even cause a horrible loss. That could not happen - no on her account.]

Goheno nin [(Forgive me)], but I must return to Imladris at once. You seem to have powerful enough magic to bring me to your world, surely it could not be such a hardship to return me home. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

[And with that the locket closes, uneasy eyes searching the forests for an unseen danger - far too accustomed to things like orcs roaming in the night. The sooner she could be returned home, the better.]

Aragorn is here?

[Her voice gives away what she'd been trying to conceal, the emotions raging within her. This is not how she'd wished to be reunited with her love.

Not in the face of another war.]

Aye, as is Legolas and your mother. And her mother, and other Elves I do not recognize.

[She...probably doesn't care about Thorin and his nephews or Bilbo right now.]

[Her mother... It should be impossible considering she'd sailed many moons ago. She pales further, taking a shaky breath before responding.]

My- My mother?

[She must have misheard. There was powerful magic in the world, but she could not believe such a magic existed.]

Yes, your mother. Time does not play fair in this world, my Lady. I come from a time four years after the War of the Ring, yet Aragorn comes from the Black Gate and Legolas from even later than me.

How is this possible?

[A question rests on the tip of her tongue for a moment before finally slipping out.]

Does Aragorn... Does he-

[The words die off, not sure if her heart can handle the truth of the future.]

Yes, yes, he survives, as do the rest of us! You as well, and you make a lovely Queen of Gondor.

[That fear dissipates, a single tear slipping out as she dares to smile.]

[Her eyes close for a moment, hand resting against a tree to support herself. Taking a slow breath, her gaze returns to the locket.]

Hmph, what sort of friend would I be if I didn't reassure you? You are not the first I have had to inform and I doubt you'll be the last.

[Friend... Another sign of the future. She lets out a little laugh, a hand coming to rest where her pendant used to sit.]

[He smirks, happy that she isn't scared anymore]

[If there was something she knew without a shadow of doubt - it was the love of her life. There's a shine of adoration in her eyes as she thinks of him.]

He carries so much on his shoulders.

He does, though it does get considerable easier to bear in a few years time. Apparently it is much harder helping to save the world than it is running a kingdom. Who knew?

Imagine that.

[A hint of playfulness enters her tone, giving a small shake of her head. She had first hand knowledge, watching both her father and grandparents. It was a great responsibility, but not as grave as the lives of all in Middle Earth.]

He will be an excellent King.

Gondor seems to think so. Four years and it's thriving!

That is very welcome news.

[Though if this war is lost, that could all be for naught. Their world could be lost - she could never spend the rest of her time with her beloved. She frowns slightly.]

We shall see if the war here plays a part in any of that.

I do not think it will. Too many of us come from different points in history!

[That could work in either their favor or against them, but it a concern for a later date. Right now, she had to focus on her own safety.]

[Though she was sure news of her arrival had spread. If he was not aware of her presence, he would be soon.]
