The image is no longer one of the stars and boughs of the trees overhead but resting on the face of a weary elf. A weight had been lifted off of her with her arrival, though the chill still remained - seeming to radiate from within.]

Mae govannen [(Well met)], these creatures informed me I am in the Drabwurld just beyond the Unseelie castle. They do not seem to be able to tell me how I might return home. It is imperative that I do not linger here, my father will worry.

[Among others, though he would be first to notice her absence. It could be a terrible distraction from the war, causing worry when it was unnecessary - even cause a horrible loss. That could not happen - no on her account.]

Goheno nin [(Forgive me)], but I must return to Imladris at once. You seem to have powerful enough magic to bring me to your world, surely it could not be such a hardship to return me home. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

[And with that the locket closes, uneasy eyes searching the forests for an unseen danger - far too accustomed to things like orcs roaming in the night. The sooner she could be returned home, the better.]

Grandmother...

[She smiles softly, grateful for the familiar face, though the message is no more reassuring than the one before. If her grandmother were here as well, then truly the situation is far more dire than she'd anticipated.]

Are there others here? Others from home?

[As upset as she is by the situation, she manages a reassuring smile]

There are- a great many, in fact. You are far from alone here, even if distance should part us for the moment.

[There's a comfort in that, though her heart clenches at the thought.]

How can I reach you? Surely there must be a way.

We will find a way, I promise you, but it will not be easy. Your mother and I have been set in the Seelie court; we could not come directly to you, but my cousins or my aunt, perhaps-

[Sorry, grandma is mildly distracted and didn't notice the bombshell that she accidentally dropped there.]

[Anything else said after that is not heard, voice choking as drawing breath seems to suddenly be far more of a struggle than it had before.]

[She stops her fretting immediately, realizing what she's said.]

Oh, pinig, forgive me. I should have told you more gently. She is here, well and whole, brought from the shores of Valinor.

[There is no easy way to share that news. She shakes her head slightly, still trying to process it. She needs to see her, touch her - there is so much to share.]

She is well, truly? There has to be a way for me to reach you both.

[A new motivation fueling her.]

She has changed, of course- healed and grown. In some ways, she is stronger for her trials, I think. But yes, she is well.

[As for a way of reaching them] I am speaking now with my cousins, who may have a solution. Pinig, you know of Maglor and Maedhros?

[That is reassuring, something she'd worried about - memories of her mother before her departure still lingering in her mind.]

The sons of Fëanor? They are here?

[There's a slight confusion etched on her face, quite familiar with the names from tales and lore. Stories from her father.]

They are. How is not simple to explain; suffice it to say that time works strangely in this place. But Maglor has the means to travel swiftly and to take another with him.

[She pauses] I do not ask you to forget what they have done, pinig. Yet they did- and do, I think- love and care for your father, in their own way, and they love me also. They would allow no harm to come to you. Do you believe that you could trust them, at least so far this?

I do.

[She could not forget what she knew of them but they had also raised her father. Some of those traits they had instilled on him had passed down to her - no matter how he came to be in their care.

That is what she had to focus on, trusting that the care they had felt for her father could be extended to her.

And if Maglor had the means to take her away from this place to her family, she was not going to object.]

If you trust them, I have no reason to doubt them.

[A soft slow exhale. Trust is not a simple thing here. Love, yes, but that is a different matter.] In this, yes, I trust them.
