Okay. [ Kelsi takes a deep breath, trying not to look too frazzled. She's feasted, woken up, and...Nope. She's still here. She takes a quick breath and offers a shy, slightly waning smile to the network of lockets. She's in her room--it's one of the smaller ones--and Ryan Evans can be seen in the background with his eyes closed, doing yoga. More specifically, parsvottasana pose. Kelsi seems completely oblivious. ] So this isn't a dream, that's--great. [ That's one word for it ] Which means if we're all here for a very long time, it's probably a good idea to say hi? So...

[ A little awkward, but she lifts her hand in greeting, the smile completely gone after her hand moves to fall on her lap. ] Hi. I'm Kelsi, and if there are any Wildcats out there, please let me know? At first I thought this was a dream, except normally my dreams involve East High still, and musical signups, sometimes I dream about tea, and--oh! Right. I also wanted to know if anyone here has a good singing voice. And maybe if you were okay with letting me hear it?

It's not for something weird! I promise, I promise, it's just--If I'm going to be here for a while, I might as well do something. Like write, right? [ Wow Kels, way to not tell people what you actually do. ]

One last little thing--if anyone was going to university or college for music composition, I'd really like to get into contact with you. There's this bit in one of my text books that's really confusing to me for some reason. Thanks!

[ She ends it with a little wave--and throughout this entire conversation, Ryan has moved to Downward Dog, and eventually to a handstand. ]

[ Kelsi sort of looks confused, but Ryan's too busy with Yoga when she turns around to ask him so she looks looks back to the locket and fiddles with her beanie. She may or may not be thinking about keebler elves and the kind in santa's workshop. ]

I bet you could sing, you just need a little confidence. It's okay, I can help you if you want lessons! Oh, and Ryan could teach you to dance--it'll be really fun!

[Yes, have one of those elves popping her head in.]

Some of us do have more skill with song than others, of course.

Oh, of course. I mean everyone can sing if they want to, but sometimes talent--

[ Hold the phone. She's really pretty. Like, really pretty. And a little--wow. Okay she's really pretty and Kelsi kind of feels a little goofy about talking suddenly, and then she notices the ears and her hands fly to her mouth, muffling herself but not quite getting rid of her embarrassed look. ]

Oh my gosh, if you call yourself an Elf--I mean if you are an elf--I didn't mean to disrespect--I was just curious--You can't read my mind, can you?

[Well, the mind reading comment is a bit out of nowhere, at least from Galadriel's perspective, and it does earn Kelsi a look of mild amusement.]

Doubtless I could, if I so wished, but that is a particular talent of mine and is not to be expected from every member of my race. Regardless, you needn't worry; I have no special interest in your private thoughts.

Wait--I'm sorry, I just thought you just hinted that you actually were and I wasn't just rambling like I do when I'm nervous and I don't know how to stop.

Calm yourself, child. Yes, I am an elf and, yes, I may see into the hearts and minds of others if I so wish. Is that what you wish to know? [Not hinting. Outright stating.]

[ Oh no 'calm yourself, child' and Kelsi is immediately reminded of pretty much any time she accidentally freaked out at her mom told her to chill. In nicer words, of course. ]

I... Gosh, that's--that's incredible. I was sort of joking, but... Wow.

So it's just you, and not other Elfs? [ PAuse. ] ...Elves...?

[Fun fact: The mom tone apparently does not change that much across species. "Chill" is pretty much exactly what Galadriel meant.]

It is not a unique talent, by any means, but it is not something to be expected from every elf, no- certainly not to the degree I posses it.

I have several, in fact. [Though it seems that she doesn't intend to specify.] It may interest you to know that where I am from song itself may be a form of Power. Great battles have been fought with its use and, indeed, it is said that the world itself was sung into creation.

...Really? Could you--I mean, is that sort of thing teachable?

Alas, I think not. I could teach you the songs themselves, certainly, and you might sing them. But I do not believe I could pass on the sort of... command of the world about you that is necessary to use them effectively. I have never seen such power wielded by the mortal races, in truth. You might ask for something similar as a boon, of course.

Regardless, if the matter interests you still, you should speak also to my cousin. In the realm of music, my talent pales in comparison to his own.

I know how to dance. [Singing lessons? What's the point of those? Everyone can sing. Not everyone has a good voice for it, but everyone can.]

Oh! Of course you know, I mean everyone can dance, but--well. One day you should see Ryan. He choreographed all of the musicals I've written and all of his own stuff, and when he moves it's like he's floating.
