[The image comes on of a room, an unfamiliar room to all but a small handful in Troichean Beinn. The picture rises and falls rapidly, a panting sound coming before there's a sharp cry and the visual changes to the wall as the body wearing the locket rises.

Sorry, folks, but it seems like Stiles turned the locket on while he was having his nightmare or vision or whatever the hell it was, reaching for something to help him get out of it and flicking on the video. Oops? He'd be embarrassed if he wasn't so confused.]

Scott? Malia...?

[He blinks, eying the stone walls in front of him and groaning as it all comes back in a rush. Drabwurld. Fairies. Crap.

It's a moment after that that he realizes the locket's on and he looks tired as he turns it to peer into it, seeing it unlocked to both courts. Great.]

Um... I guess I left? But I'm back now. Though... I'm not at Caer Glaem. Am I still at Troichean Beinn? Gendry? Jon? Sansa? I thought I would have shown up back at court, but hey, look, they don't entirely suck.

[Nope. Someone didn't know they'd been sleeping. He thought he'd left and gone for months and came back. Who wants to break the news? Shut up, Peter.]

Because that's not what my brain's telling me. I'm pretty sure I went home. For months. So... you know, this whole sleeping coma whatever thing just doesn't feel right.

It was a week, more like, and I'd have noticed if you were gone. [Because he camped out in here like a goober at least an hour a night.]

[Jon almost winces. Queenie omg.] It would likely serve you not to be so... casual in the presence of royalty, Stiles.

You realize sitting here talking about her royal blinding brightness is completely different from talking to her, right?

[He was lucky to be able to put a sentence together when he talked to her.]

[Jon shrugs.] Men --and women of power have eyes and ears is many places, is all.

[Jon gives him a look.] And what's to stop her if she wanted to? She's a queen.

With that logic, what's to stop her from just killing us all? Know your audience, bro. She's too busy fighting the bitchy evil queen to give a crap about what we call her.

[Jon... hasn't actually met her. He likes to stay as far away from royalty as he can, when he can, and his lord father had been much more suitably highborn.] As you say, then. I still don't think it wise.

Wise? How is any of this wise? We're in a magical fairy land fighting a war none of us signed up for and now we're in a dwarf castle.

We are still at the dwarf castle, right? You didn't like, move me to some secret lair, did you?

[Jon rolls his eyes.] The only secret lair I've got is another dwarf castle. But yes, we are still in Troichean Bienn.

[teenyoda]

You have another dwarf castle? Wow, how long was I out?

[Jon. You've moved up in the world. Wanna be his sugar daddy?]

Cothromach was built by dwarves, and it's them that live there in large part, though my lord father was gifted it a few moon's turns ago by the queen as a boon. So it is Sansa's now.

[teenyoda]

... Right. Okay. And I expect you'll have your finger in that pie because, um... No offense to Sansa and don't take it this way, but she's a big young to be running a castle.

[Not that Jon wasn't young, or Stiles, but Jon was weirdly mature and Stiles judged him for it.]

[Jon sighs. It's not that she's young, it's that their lord father taught Robb to lead... and Jon, too. He never taught the girls, because he never thought they - so far down in the line of succession - would have had such a burden thrust upon them.]

[teenyoda]

Of course she will.

[Hear that? That's Stiles' utter lack of disbelief. Contrary to what he says to Jon and how he says it, he has faith in the other boy's skills and sense of responsibility. It's probably why he's drawn to him.]

[The offer surprised him and it showed, Stiles blinking as he looked up at Jon before a grin curved his mouth.]

Yeah? Well... maybe I'll take you up on that. I mean, if Sansa's okay with it.

[It wasn't like he made a secret out of the fact that he hated being dragged here and didn't want to fight anyone.]

[Stiles is one of the few people Jon has seen Sansa actively like and seek out for companionship, so he'll eat his fur cloak if she wouldn't let him come stay. And anyway, Jon needs to recruit people for the Guard, even if Stiles ends up just being their potion dispenser....]

She will be. [A pause--] And the fairies have given me a fairy ring to bury there, so you will still be able to visit the castle... or your Station, if you wish. [You know, that queer place with the queer food and the super lame video games (that Jon couldn't win at.)]

[teenyoda]

[Hey, his potions will kick ass. Especially since he's gotten a power boost. Double what they were last time, bro. He's a handy boy to keep around.]

My station? Dude, it's everyone's station. And I'm totally going to get you to actually get the hang of the games.

[Don't act like you don't like nachos, Jon. You pigged out on them.]

But honestly? Thanks. I really mean it. It's... it's nice to have options here.

Aye, well. I do like your magical potions.

My magical potions saved your butt. And your wolves' butts. But really, I kinda... I dunno. It's nice to have people to count on here. This place is all sorts of messed up and-- It's just nice, okay.
