Video - Seelie/Unseelie (Partially Accidental) | Action for those in Troichean Beinn
[The image comes on of a room, an unfamiliar room to all but a small handful in Troichean Beinn. The picture rises and falls rapidly, a panting sound coming before there's a sharp cry and the visual changes to the wall as the body wearing the locket rises.
Sorry, folks, but it seems like Stiles turned the locket on while he was having his nightmare or vision or whatever the hell it was, reaching for something to help him get out of it and flicking on the video. Oops? He'd be embarrassed if he wasn't so confused.]
Scott? Malia...?
[He blinks, eying the stone walls in front of him and groaning as it all comes back in a rush. Drabwurld. Fairies. Crap.
It's a moment after that that he realizes the locket's on and he looks tired as he turns it to peer into it, seeing it unlocked to both courts. Great.]
Um... I guess I left? But I'm back now. Though... I'm not at Caer Glaem. Am I still at Troichean Beinn? Gendry? Jon? Sansa? I thought I would have shown up back at court, but hey, look, they don't entirely suck.
[Nope. Someone didn't know they'd been sleeping. He thought he'd left and gone for months and came back. Who wants to break the news?Shut up, Peter.]

[ she doesn't look up from her work. she's making a jagged-tipped mountain in snow. ] Or that is how it sounds.

[Nice snow pile, Sansa.]

[ with the edge of her nail on her littlest finger, she begins to carve out a tiny castle. the eyrie. ] Winter is a dreaded thing in Westeros. The Stark words warn of it. But I found I welcomed it when I saw it again. It's a pretty and pure season.
-- What season was it when you were home, Stiles?
no subject
Winter. It was about the middle of winter. No snow for us, though.
[Was she... making a snow castle? Sansa... someone needed to show you how to sandcastle.]

No snow. But was it cold?

Yeah, we don't really do furs all that much anymore. There's... mmm, I'm going to say there's a lot more people on my world than in yours, and trying to give everyone a fur is just... no. There's humane issues about breeding fur animals since we don't really do hunting the same way either. So most furs are actually fake furs and we've come up with other kinds of fabrics to keep warm. There's still like, really furs, but they're hella expensive and you might get paint thrown on you from activists for wearing them.

I...I see. [ she presses her lips together. still, it isn't what she's after. he talks about home so broadly. she wants to know more. ] Stiles! Your friend. Scott. Did you speak with him again?
no subject
Yeah, we talked.
[They'd done a lot more than talking, but that was his life now. Fights and deaths and supernatural things that could kill him. Welcome to life; Version Spooky.]

[ his smile had been so brief! she pauses in her sculpture work when she sees it and longs to see it again. ]

[Yeah, you stumped him.]

[Sansa... god.]
Not as advanced. We've found a lot of things out in the last seventy years alone, and a lot of it contradicts things we thought were fact. Medical stuff. Sciency stuff. Stuff that saves lives, not just stuff for convenience. So it's hard to look at what sort of feels like hundreds of years ago in my time and not want to just throttle the people where you live. Because feminism. And vaccines and antibiotics.
