[ it's clear that, when the video starts, arya's locket is not around her neck. it's around something else... or rather, someone else. that someone is nymeria. and nymeria is hovering around arya as she sits on a crate, a canvas bag at her side and... chocolate all over her mouth, a smudge on her cheek, and on her fingers as she stuffs her face with another piece.]

No-- [ her mouth is full so her words sound like it.] Ru can't haff any. Mits not good for animarls. [ she stuffs another chocolate into her mouth from the canvas bag and chew for a few moments before she stops. she makes a face then groans, her arms wrapping around her torso. she makes another face, you know, the kind you make when you feel sick because that's how she feels. sick. she pushes the bag away, moving to lay down, her voice a bit whiny.]

Nymeria... chocolate might be poison for humans too.

[Ayra you can't just order Jon around he's a Lord Commander!

Not that he doesn't totally obey anyway. He sticks his head into the room she's in, both eyebrows raised.] If you're sick on me, I'll make you eat every meal with your sister for a month.

[ all you get is an eyeroll. at least it's an amused one. she moves to drag her back over, opening it so he can reach in to get one of the wrapped candies, once he's close enough.]

[Jon takes the candy dubiously, and peels off the wrapper.] Where did you get all this?

John. [ She's definitely spoken of him in the past. She admires him as much as Arya can admire a person that isn't her brother or father.]

[baseborne]

I ought to speak with him. [Though only part of that is because he needs to learn that trusting Arya not to do impulsive things is a big mistake. The rest is for the tone her voice takes when she talks of him.]

What for? [ she looks at him, brows lifting.] It's not actually poison.

[baseborne]

No, I don't suppose you'd be standing around and talking about it if it was. [He also suspects Nymeria wouldn't have let her eat any of it if it was.] And why not? [His eyebrows lift in return, a mirror of hers.] Do I not have your leave to speak to him, then?

[ that's the truth. nymeria wouldn't have let her eat any and she wouldn't have been begging for some for herself either. but arya wishes jon would sit next to her so she could lean against him, her stomach still aches.

regardless, she shrugs at his question.] I don't care if you speak with him. [ she does. she's curious.]

[baseborne]

[She doesn't voice it, but he seems to know it, so he finally eats the piece of chocolate he'd been holding pinched between his fingers, and settles down next to her, chewing. It is good, strange and sweet, and he rubs circles into her back with his empty hand.] Does he have a surname? [He'd never asked, because so many men don't have one that he'd not felt the need to when she spoke of him before, but John is so common a name that it might scarcely help him find the man with the lockets.]

[ Nymeria has long sense abandoned them for something more exciting, content that now that Jon is with her, Arya is perfectly safe. And now that Jon is sitting, Arya subtly scoots closer. She doesn't shrug off that motion either. It makes her think of her lady mother, rubbing her back whenever Arya felt ill. It was the only time Arya was still. Mostly.]

Grimm.

[baseborne]

John Grimm, then. [He wrinkles his nose, amused a little despite himself.] It sounds even more an ill omen than Jon Snow.

[ she smirks.] I like snow.
