These dogs came to my door today. So I thought maybe they got away from Allison. They're hers. But no, I went to her room, and it's empty. It's like no one ever lived there at all... I can't reach her on the lockets, either. Allison Argent - has anyone seen her? If she's gone...

( she takes a breath to steady herself, licks her lips, tries to soothe her nerves. )

Just some mega-loser named Ethan. Post-middle-age crisis sweet tooth for all things chaos-y and annoying. That crap's tiring when you get from young and wanna-be hip anarchist teens. It's straight up embarrassing when it comes from a guy with a receding hairline.

Well, the family -- my best friend's family, they've been hunters for centuries. Their last name is Argent. In French, pronounced argent, it means silver. A werewolf's weakness is silver. And their motto has been, for a very long time, nous chassons ceux qui nous chassent. - We hunt those who hunt us. But... My best friend... She felt a little differently about it. Nous protégeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protéger eux-mêmes. We protect those who cannot protect themselves. Unfortunately, some of her other family members lost sight of... What they were there for, why they were hunters. They became killers instead... But she never -- ( lydia's voice cracks. ) - She was always strongwilled about it.
