VIDEO. OPEN TO SEELIE & UNSEELIE
[It's with great, great smugness that Peter opens his locket. He smiles, quite serenely; this is an open invitation, not to both courts, but to those who know him specifically. He smiles with all his teeth - is reclining quite comfortably in his room. He's packed a bag, intending to leave in the next few days, but no one need know that. ]
Good evening - I've come into quite a bit of luck, recently. Good news should be shared, as my older sister would say.
[There's a mischievous edge to his entire face. For a moment, he pauses. ]
I had known that our monarchs were generous, but I hadn't quite believed it until I experienced it first hand.
[At this, his eyes change. They glow red, his teeth just shy of fangs. He's positively brimming with elation. Hardly had to lift a finger. Hardly had to scheme at all and he's gotten what he wanted. Not a single drop of blood shed; he's sure Derek and Talia would both be so proud. ]
The eyes do come with a few draw backs, but none that I can't fix.
[It feels so good to be back in action. ] Anyway, I really ought to go. Consider this my Unseelie propaganda duty.

[A beat. ]
The mechanics of my species culture is a fascinating story, but a long one.

Hm. The nature fairy puts two and two together.]
You haven't gone up in a pack rank, have you? Like up to a beta or an alpha?
i am the manager suck
[a beat. how to phrase this? ]
There are only three levels. Beta is the default, ruled by Alphas. Omegas are the outcasts, the disowned.
goes over your head to the regional manager
[Though such dynamics are often misinterpreted and/or more complex or simple than they seem, but whatever.] Does it give you certain powers outside of status, then?

She raises an eyebrow quizzically.]
Oh really, like what?

Wow that's--that's incredible! I've never heard of werewolves doing that, not that I know what they can do everywhere, but that's very interesting.
I'm Flora, what's your name? [Yeah, she can read it off the locket, but whatever, manners!!]
no subject
[He almost says loyal, but - he has no loyalty. ]
Well, most of us are more than that.

[Peter you are not helping your case here.]
Uh, you're not speaking about yourself, are you?
no subject
[he'll make you like him, Flora. just wait.]

But they can also be lying liars that lie and get others hurt.]
What sort of problems, if you don't mind my asking?

My family were murdered. An arsonist targeted us, because of what we are. My sister, nieces, nephews, cousins - all of them burned alive. I was burned so badly, it took me six years in a coma to even regain movement.
But six years in a coma, slowly healing - I wasn't the same person. I was mindless, had no control - I murdered my own niece.
[He pauses again, this time much longer. ] She would have barely been out of college.
