[ Turning to video as well on Thorin's end, he shifts and leans closer to the screen, his eyes narrowing as he tries to understand where all that hair starts and where it ends.

He gives up trying to follow it to the tips resting on the bed, and after a moment he just shakes his head once and speaks up. ]

Why do you not simply cut it shorter? It would be much more practical.
