[But he'll close the locket at that! Off to get hair supplies, whatever flowers he happens to find before heading to the room that she directed. It'll probably take about twenty minutes or so before he shows at her door]

[He looks down at her when she opens the doors. Oh she's kinda cute in an adorable sort of way. He gives a shrug and a sweep of his hands with the flowers]

[ fine, she'll open the door, take a step back and look back at her room. and her hair. ]

[When she opens the door, of course he notices her hair, and how it goes all the way down to her feet. And then to the floor, and then well past the floor into- well- most of the room]

It grew. I've sort of never cut it in eighteen years and then, ta da! hair!

[ watch her point to the hair as if it's on display ]

So! do you think you can do it?

[He's staring because dude. That can't even be possible for eighteen years of hair growing. No way. That's not normal]

[But he's not sure he should point that out to a lady with enough hair to strangle him if she so choose.]

You mean- braid all that?

[He stares at the sea of hair. He feels like backing out of this will get ugly]

[ look at that face. can you back out on that face. ]

[He slumps his shoulders and sigh. Nope, can't say no to that darling face even if he knows this is going to be a major pain in the ass.]

Go...sit down. I'll see what I can do.

[ look how her face lights up and she'll sort of hug his arm excitedly, bouncing on her feet ]

Yay, oh my gosh, thank you, thank you! I can finally go out and look around, maybe I can go in the gardens!

[ she'll sit like a statue. ]

Is there much to see outside? I'm sure there is - I can finally explore the castle, haha!

[He wasn't expecting to get his arm hugged, so there's a surprised look before he just tries to laugh it off]

Heh...yeah yeah, sure my darling.

[Nnngh no girl, don't do that. You'll make his icy heart thaw from sweetness. He follows her along, bending over to pick up the hair and start trying to sort out...where it actually ends. He's almost surprised to hear that she hasn't seen any of the castle- but with this hair that's probably why.]

Yeah, there's plenty of cool stuff. The gardens are gorgeous too. Can't say I've seen too much though, I'm pretty new myself.

[ she looks back, an easy smile on her face. ]

welcome! I'm sorta new. I'm here a while but I couldn't really leave. I've never seen the gardens! I mean, I haven't been there, I saw them through the window. I'm kind of really excited to go. I've never been in a garden.

And...seriously? What, did they not have gardens where you grew up?

oh well, there might have. but I've never seen them. I sort of - never left home. ever. So I've never really seen anything except for my tower and um. the grass and tress and the forest around it. You know?

[Except for her tower? Like, she was stuck in a tower all her life? That's...rough. He frowns.]

I sort of left for the first time without permission before coming here? I came here on my birthday and I was going to make my birthday dream come true and then -- well, I've never seen a fairy so of course I followed and then I was here.

Seriously? The first time you left, you got taken by fairies? [He makes a slight click sound with his tongue] Talk about bad luck.

[He starts working on parting her hair now that he's got a sense of how far it goes]

Well, I suppose it's also my fault. I did say I'll come to help them, I just - I never figured they will take me this far. Mother must be freaking out.

[ but she has at least two panic attacks a day over it and this won't be the third. ]

I want to see the floating lights! every night of my birthday there are lights in the sky and I just - I really want to see them from up close.
