this is not the man you are looking for, however: this is thomas "murphy", and he clears his throat before he introduces himself. ]

Hi. I'm Thomas Murphy, and I'm--kind of a new arrival. I guess they'd call me a greenie if this was back home. [ there's no hint of humor on his face, but he did actually just try and make a joke, and his tone is a little lighter, for it. ]

Can anyone tell me about the Seelie and Unseelie--in your own words, if that makes any sense? What you know about it...you don't have to tell me any secrets or anything, but, maybe why you're there, I guess. [ he's not going to say which court he is (though it's obvious eventually, by the background of caer scima), but he just needs to know. ] Or, if you're okay with where you are. Not that I'm not, but...I don't know. Is there any reason why someone wouldn't be? They apparently brought us here for a reason-- [ again. ] --since we have these "shards", or whatever they are, but I don't have a lot of trust for anybody who says that, because it's usually a load of klunk.

I guess that's all I've got to ask. [ a beat. ] Actually, that's not true. Is there another map around here? Besides the one they gave me, I mean, it's not very good. [ ... ] No offense.

[ thomas is just going to shut his trap now. he almost physically winces and shakes his head. ] That's it, honestly. I'm just going to... hang up now. Thanks.

[ thomas does hang up, and the feed ends--for all of five seconds, before he snaps it back on. ] Oh, wait--also, I want to know if anyone here's ever heard the phrase "WICKED is good." It has to look like this. [ after a second, there's a typed out phrase that appears instead, with WICKED fully capitalized. ] That's really all this time. Um, thanks.

Let me ask you a question then, Mr. Know it all. You got any of these, uh, Cranky things here? You see any around? Know of any that actually popped up here in court with you or your buddy? Because I'm going to guess not since this is the first I've heard of them. In that case, you might want to actually try paying attention to the fact that I'm pointing out something that is, in fact, here. And is actually in your court. But hey, if you want to sit here and talk possibilities over things that might pop up that I should watch out for instead of actualities, you go for gold, buddy.

You know, if you asked like I'm trying to do, I would tell you the definition of whatever word it is you're having a problem with, since you can't wrap your head around different places having different slang. But, since you're more determined to be the one to one-up everyone-- [ Calling him a know-it-all? please, Stiles, you're definitely the one trying to hold that title. ]

-- then I'm just gonna tell you that you can find the explanation about Cranks Thomas gave someone else in a correspondence on this thing, right at your fingertips, if you ever want to be prepared in the event that one of them shows up here after us. [Not that Stiles didn't know he was walking that asshole line himself, but the whole facetwin thing was putting him in a bad mood. There were things it brought up, bad, bad things that had him wondering if maybe Thomas, if that was his real name, wasn't just the nogitsune using another persona to walk around in. It wouldn't surprise him, since the damn fairies brought Peter here, but he was trying to not jump to the worst possible conclusion.

You want an explanation? Fine. I'll give you one. A werewolf is a person that can turn into a wolf monster. He grows fangs and claws and hair and has glowing eyes and can and will tear you into itty bitty pieces. Peter happens to be a giant asshole on top of it, so he'll tear you into itty bitty pieces while talking about the weather and smiling. He'll pretend he's misunderstood and that he's not the bad guy, then he'll rip your throat out when your back is turned and you'll die choking in a pool of your own blood. Is that descriptive enough for you? Does that clue you in to the problem you have? Your little friend there that looks like me? Unless he's a demonic fox spirit, he's going to be severely screwed when Peter gets his hands on him. Because Peter is an asshole.

Why, 'cause I'm offering to give you information and pointing you towards something concise and readily available? All right, man.

[ The sarcasm is hearty in his tone, because if Stiles wants someone that's a jerk? He's riled Minho to the point that he's going to channel his irritation at the situation into his irritation with Thomas' twin. But there's silence for a moment as he listens to what he says, regardless, obviously taking in the information-- as he said he would.

At the end, however, whatever understanding he started to attain dissipates and is replaced by confusion. ]

Demonic fox spirit? [ The weird slang he has, he can get around. For the most part, once he hears him say "asshole" enough times he puts two and two together. It doesn't explain what a badass is, still, but he's more inclined towards the actual details being presented to him (especially since, maybe, there's someone or somewhere he can cross-check this information). ]

Yeah. A, uh, a nogitsune. A thousand years old and has a thing for pain and chaos. The more it can cause, the more it can feed, so... it makes a lot.

Peter's going to think your buddy there's that. Or me. Neither one's a good thing for him to be as far as Peter's concerned. I sort of, ah...

[Cough.]

I sort of pulled a prank on Peter a little while ago and I'm betting he's still steamed over it.

Okay then. [ It's not disbelief, or anything dismissive. It's just Minho going "I have no idea what this is, it sounds ridiculous but also potentially dangerous."

But then he goes from lingering irritation and faint confusion to something a lot more flat, when he admits why exactly Peter might go after Thomas. ]

So we're over here, with a possible monster that could go after Tommy if he decides he's in the mood for it, 'cause you decided to prank something that could eviscerate you.

Hey, I had no idea some weird twin would crop up in his court, okay? And Peter deserves to have his panties bunched after what he's done to my friends.
