It's a odd sort of magic here, though I can't say I'm completely unfamiliar with it. It nearly reminds me of the place I was taken from-- if perhaps the Children were not forced beneath the ground.

[She hums. She hasn't talked much of the Children of the Forest, though she thinks on them often now that she's here.]

I've heard others speak on the magic of their homes, and I'm interested to know more. I've been granted abilities at the behest of my liege lord, a word spoken and magic formed. It is useful, far more than even I could imagine. Has anyone else been granted similar things here? To what ends is this magic capable of? Either here or where we've come from.

With the fairy rings open, I would like to explore more of this place, to learn what we can of this place-- war aside, it seems we shall be here for a long time. Should more allies arrive, I would like to be equipped to travel to bring them back.

Many it seems. For Greywater Watch is in the Neck, the southernmost point in the North to which we are sworn to. My liege lord is here as are some of his allies.

Your lord is here? Which lord is that? There's a lot of lords here. It's a lordvention.

And ladies. But he is my liege lord, not just any lord. His son is my king as well, Lord Eddard Stark.

Eddard... Stark... he's the one with like, five kids here, isn't he? I met him. He lost an ear.

He has a son, Jon Snow, who is here, yes, as well as his daughter Arya.

I've met both of them. Jon's a great guy. Arya's into ice cream a lot. I know there's another daughter here, but I haven't met her.

[That he knows of. He's familiar with her as Alayne, but he knows the other name she used to go by.]

S...ansa? Yeah, Sansa.

That's what I've heard. Alayne's mentioned her, so I guess she knows her.

Aye. She is close with the family, but I have not heard anyone else speak of her being here.

Maybe talk to Alayne, then. She's the one that mentioned her being here, so I'm guessing she's seen her.

I shall. My thanks for telling me this. I am sworn to the Starks as the Crannogmen have been allied with all the kings of the North.

[He had no idea what she meant, but he did get 'sworn to the Starks' from that.]

Yeah? I think Alayne said she's sworn to Ned Stark or something.

Lord Eddard's wife's sister is the lady of the land where Alayne is from. She knew Bran Stark to whom I was very close to. It does not surprise me.

[Stiles hadn't quite clued in that ye olde Starkies had a nickname for their lord and master.]

... Oh. Is that some short thing for Eddard? Okay, then, yeah. I know him. Well, of him. Only really met him once. Briefly. Very briefly.

His title is Lord Eddard of House Stark in Winterfell, Warden of the North. I am beholden to his House and to all those who hold his name. My father knew him well, and I know one of his sons well, taken to protecting him and swearing to his older brother, the King of the North.

[Titles and monarchy was confusing for a person not used to it, Meera. Give him a break.]
