[ Hans has made pretty good legwork around Caer Scima during and after the feast, but that's not quite enough to satisfy his curiosity on a few matters - the locket, for one, and the other court for another. So he might as well kill two birds with one stone, right? Besides, while he's still getting his bearings, the best thing he could do what get to know as many people as possible. He hates being so unfamiliar with, well, everyone.

So he greets the video feed with a friendly, enthusiastic grin, his actual exhaustion buried deep beneath the surface. ]

Good evening! I apologize for the interruption, but I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself. I'm Prince Hans of the Southern Isles, and I've only just arrived in this world. As you might imagine, it's a bit overwhelming. If wouldn't mind taking a moment of your time to help me better understand the conflict going on here, I would appreciate it.

[ Then, after a thoughtful moment: ] And for curiosity's sake, who else is a royal in their own world? Surely, I can't be the only lucky one here.

[ Sure, lucky, SOMETHING LIKE THAT. ]

[He's very rich, does that count? No? Ugh fine. Nevertheless Ryan's just watching Hans on the video feed for a moment before he shrugs in response.]

Are you really a prince? [This is seriously getting either weirder, or more hilarious. He's not sure yet.]

[ Why doesn't he just start wearing a sign that says 'prince' in big block letters on it. ]

Well, of course! [ Disgraced now, but shhh. ] Is that really so surprising?

Little bit. I didn't think royalty would be willing to leave their kingdom just like that. [Purposefully pushing buttons? Maybe. Also he's just assuming that Hans willingly came to this land like he did.] And where's your crown?

[ Fortunately Ganondorf tipped him off about the Seelie choosing to come to this world. He'd hate to give away his court alliance so soon. ]

My older brothers will be able to handle the kingdom while I'm away. [ INTERNAL GRUMBLING ] Is a crown all it would take for you to believe me?

[A skeptical look.] You trust them that much? [Because honestly? It's hard to say if he'd trust Sharpay with something like that. But then again his sister leans toward the side of tyranny sometimes.] And no, of course not. It just seems funny that a prince doesn't have one.

[ He doesn't actually, not at all, but it's not as if him being there would make any difference, being the littlest prince of the lot.

SO HE'LL JUST IGNORE THAT QUESTION. ] Crowns don't exactly travel well, and are only worn on certain occasions in our court. I'm sorry to disappoint. [ That last bit is said in jest. ]

Seems pretty useless to have them then. Where are the Southern Isles anyway? [It's an inane question, yes, but that's how Ryan gets answers. He asks stupid questions and makes his own assumptions.]

[ ryan plz ] South of the Northern Sea. And yes, I know how that sounds. I suppose we aren't from the same world if you haven't heard of them.

Guess that's what I'm looking for. [There's a shrug.] I haven't met many people that are from the same kind of world as me. I'm not the only one who thinks it's weird, right?

The Southern Isles, or that I don't have a crown?

[ He sounds like he's joking, but really bro. You just arrived in a fairy world and this is what you're worried about? ]

Neither. [A bemused smile.] I mean the fact that not a lot of us are from the same world. We're probably not even from the same universe. How is everybody so calm about that?

Out of necessity, I suppose. Would you rather feel crazy about it?

Perhaps, but considering how little sense any of this makes, I don't know that we need "feel crazy" on top of everything else.

[The thing about it all is that Ryan's a lot better in "crisis" mode than anything else. (Thanks, Sharpay.) So instead he just gives Hans a questioning look.]

Well, when you put it like that, it's hard to argue. Though it may just be a different kind of logic we need to get used to.

Well, if I had to put a term to it, how about princely logic?

Princely logic. Right, why didn't I think of that? [There's a beat and then a shrug.] Guess I'm just going to stick to calling you Hans.

Please, go right ahead. [ FORCED SMILING ] There's really no need to stick to formalities here, anyway.
