Memories || Video || Open to both courts
The video starts with someone running through a dark forest. It's quite obvious that whoever's running is scared out of her mind. The trees around her vanish for a moment as the image of 2 police men getting jumped by something in the garb of a priest and torn apart appear.
Seras finally manages to find a clearing in the middle of the forest and looks around. The full moon makes the area surprisingly bright, but at the same time, scary as hell. The sound of something moving around her makes her spin. She's surrounded by things that appear to be human, but clearly aren't. They look like zombies with flesh hanging off of their bones and even chunks of it missing. They all look like villagers and some of them are armed.
The priest appears again, mocking her attempts to get away. "There's no use running," he calls to her before laughing. It sends shivers down her spine. Thank goodness she's armed. Being a police officer can be helpful at times. She doesn't wait for him to move, instead aims the pistol in her hand at him carefully and fires.
Her aim is off. None of the shots actually hit anything. Then in the blink of an eye, the priest is literally right in front of her. How could someone move so fast? Before she could react, he's got her wrist in a vice-like grip and is leaning into her. "Guns won't help you either," He says before grabbing a handful of her breast and squeezing. She turns away, only to see the other two officers she had been with, whom she thought as dead. "Eddie? Simon?" Her voice is low and shaky. How...what is going on?
"That's right, your little boyfriends belong to me now," the priest says with a sneer. "And soon, you'll belong to me too."
Thankfully the wrist he held wasn't her gun hand. She lifted the pistol and fired point blank into the false priest's head, hoping to put an end to this once and for all. It didn't work. He just turned his head laughing. "I look for loyalty in my servants. I wouldn't want a vampire with free will running around!"
Before she could react, her gun was knocked away and her arm pulled awkwardly behind her back. "Pity I couldn't find a virgin as lovely as you. I'm going to violate you, drain your blood slowly, and then you will join with the rest of my ghouls. My slave for eternity," he said, hands groping at her body. She screamed, unable to do much else.
Thankfully, someone else chose this time to show up. Someone very different from this false priest. He was tall, wearing a nice suit with a red coat and hat and orange glasses. He walked into the clearing like he belonged there, out in the full moonlight.
"Who the hell are you?" the priest demanded.
"Your death," The stranger replied.
"My death? Oh really? My god, this is pathetic. Kill him," with a snap of his fingers, all of the ghouls fired their weapons at the stranger and he just stood there, taking all of the bullets. Bits and pieces of flesh were torn from his body and he didn't move during all of it. Eventually, out of ammunition, the ghouls stopped firing and the body of the stranger fell to the ground in a pool of blood.
Seras couldn't move. The priest had dropped her, but she couldn't make herself get up and run even though it might just save her life. The priest walked towards the corpse of the stranger, laughing. "Is that the best you've got?"
The look on his face turned from smug victory to horror as the corpse of the stranger began to laugh, dark and haunting. He wasn't dead at all! The torn flesh and lost limbs began to regrow. She didn't know how it was happening. Vampires weren't real? Were they? She couldn't even begin to put logic to what was going on around her. This had to be some sort of bad dream, right?
Once whole, the stranger pulled out a rather large, silver gun and began to fire at the ghouls. Unlike her bullets from earlier, these were destroying the creatures. They fell to dust on the ground after each shot.
"How? How can he be killing them? Its those bullets." The priest was scared and she still couldn't make herself get up off of the ground.
"A silver cross from Manchester Cathedral was melted down to make these 13mm exploding shells. Nothing I shoot ever gets back up again," the stranger explained, smirking. Now it was just the three of them.
"But why? Tell me. Why fight to save these pathetic humans?" Before Seras could react, she was grabbed again. "Don't take another step. The girl's the last survivor. Don't you want to save her? Be reasonable. I'm not asking for much, just a bit of help. You could look the other way." He was trying to bargain his way out, but it didn't seem to be working.
"Are you a virgin, my dear?"
The question caught both Seras and the priest off guard. Why was he asking something like that at a time like this?
"What are you doing?"
"I'm asking if you're a virgin."
Seras could hardly form words at the moment.
"You bastard!"
"Answer me!"
"Y-Yes! I am!" She finally managed to get out before a single shot rang in the night and fire raced in her chest. She couldn't breathe. It hurt so much. Blood fell from her lips as she was dropped to the ground again.
She wasn't sure what happened to the priest after she fell. Her vision was rather blurry and she couldn't focus on anything. Memories of her parent's death filled her mind as tears fell from her eyes. Was this really going to be the end for her?
Soon the blurry shape of the stranger appeared above her. "I had to shoot through you to pierce his heart. I'm sorry, but you're dying. There's no time left. The choice is yours. What do you want to do?"
More memories flashed before her eyes. Quick images of a ransacked house with blood on the floors and walls appeared before she tried to lift her hand and reach for the blurry stranger. No, she didn't want to die. Not now, not tonight. Her hand fell into his as he knelt by her side.
"Police girl, tonight is truly a beautiful night," the stranger said, smirking one last time before everything went black.

Seras woke with a start, unsure of what just happened. Why did she dream about that night? It seemed so long ago now.
"Master..." She muttered before noticing her locket open at her bed.
"Wait...what happened?!" She sputtered.
Seras. [The worry in her tone is nearly palpable.] Are you alright? Where are you?
[Confused Draculina is confused.]
[Action]
[Action]
I didn't mean for everyone to see that.
[Action]
It's alright, Seras. [She begins fidgeting with her own locket, which had before hidden underneath her shirt.] Do you feel up to talking about it?
[WORRIED TSUN BOSS IS WORRIED. 8|]
[Action]
Her hand goes to her neck for a moment as she looks at her Master's Master.]
There's not much more to say really. You knew what happened in Cheddar after we were sent out. I've gotten used to being...this now.
[Action]
[Integra, although not distressed, is certainly concerned. Yes, she knew of the events of which had transpired in Cheddar that night. She had read the report, after all. Though she had never experienced it firsthand... until now. Why had her locket broadcast that memory in particular? She had to wonder...]
You've been been flourishing since you've first arrived. [She admits; a tiny smile creeping upon her face-- albeit, still worried.]
Though you needn't keep these things to yourself.
[A bit hypocritical, on her part. Though with Walter gone, perhaps it was her time to act as a confidante.]
[Action]
Its been interesting working with everyone at Hellsing, even if Master is rather mean at times.
I enjoy working with the Wild Geese, even with their teasing.
[Audio]
It is also what he fancies to be empathy along with horrified, morbid, bile-fascination curiosity that does have him stay fixed on it to the dubious end.
It haunts him enough that he's noted to return - again, out of... perhaps more sympathy for this particular move - once it's been allowed to sit long enough. He tunes in clearing his throat to clear space to pin his voice down restrained.]
...I apologize for intruding; does that -- did the memory -- really... end there?
[Inflection's flat.]
[Audio]
[Audio]
[Which, given that he asked in the first place, was probably completely unnecessary to say, but in that case moving on - ]
I do apologize; that -- wasn't for me to see. [And not that he's one of a very scant few who might've - either way, he knows he watched!] Umm -- is everything well with you? M -- my lady.
[After having a dream like that - hopefully asking that is at least making up somewhat for any faux pas it is to barge in to ask her about it at all.]
[Audio]
[Audio]
[Perfectly meaningless comment, if it's even that. Still reinforces that, no, that wasn't an ending.]
[Audio]
[Audio]
[Assumption that it was the man at the end. Hence the actual significance about that being the end. But better not just... assuming.]
[Audio]
I don't regret the choice I've made.
[Audio]
[Contentingly, at least. Saying that bit would sort of dredge it back toward grave.]
