[Open to both Seelie | Unseelie]
[Simon's peering into his locket, looking uncertain- brows gently furrowed as if he's concentrating, but slightly hesitant to speak. To one other person in particular here, it must be somewhat reminiscent of the Simon who was worried about speaking up, worried his friends might think he was stupid for voicing his thoughts. He licks his lips. Should he have told Alisha first?]
Did-.. anyone else see things last night? [Though his voice is even and sure, a hand is idly pushes back the brown hair at his forehead with a flicker of self-consciousness. He doesn't really know these people, should he be sharing this?] I don't know if it was a message- it was, more like a vision. Like someone trying to contact me.
[Blue eyes lift, glancing upward briefly before settling back upon the locket he recalls what he was shown.] There were people asking for my help. It seemed like they were being torn apart er- in the sky. [His nose wrinkles a little, it sounds vaguely ridiculous and wasn't pleasant, that much is reflected in his expression and he's compelled to help them even if he doesn't have any idea how, this is all he can do. Perhaps someone else here will know better.]

voice.
You saw it, too?
[he honestly thought it had just been him.]
voice
Yes. Do you know why we saw it?
[His tone sounds rather hopeful. Plenty of other people here know more about this land, the magic, how it all works. Maybe someone knows. Other, than you know, someone being desperate for help.]
voice
[he doesn't really want to go into it -- he had been hoping simon had a better explanation. looks like he has to talk.]
You think everyone saw what we saw?
voice
[His tone implies clearly enough that she would have. He thinks. Simon takes a breath in, as if he's a little nervous.]
It's just. I don't usually see- ..things like this.
voice
he sounds a tad exasperated when he responds,]
You don't. What do you think this means? People -- normal people -- ain't used to this, and now everybody's talkin' about it. Who d'you think did this?
voice
[There's a pause, he only wishes he had something else.]
I don't know. The ..sky doesn't seem quite right either. People are talking about that too --do you have any ideas?
voice (sorry i'm late!)
I ain't, either.
[he gives a shake of his head, though simon can't see it.]
No. Maybe someone's doin' this, makin' us see things.
[wouldn't be the first time for ben, anyway.]
Voice (no worries bb, I'm the slowest!)
You've got powers? [By nature he's curious; he's thought about the fact he's bound to meet people with different abilities, magic and spells. In Wertham no one was born with what they could do.]
I think you might be right. Maybe it's a test? [To see if they'll act, see if they'll help. How? He's not really sure.]
Voice (<3)
A test for what?
[it's not happening to just a few of them, so ben's at a bit of a loss. at home, he'd be able to make more sense of things, but now, it's really all up in the air.]
Voice (am slowest)
Maybe to ..see if we'll help them or not? We're supposed to do things- people talk about gaining favour with the royals. I've never really had to do anything like that.
[Maybe this is one of those things, deeds that would please the royals? Even so, Simon's still more curious about this voice.]
I'm Simon.

It's probably just a bad dream. [ though, alisha's tone isn't entirely convincing. weird shit happens around them, even here … if simon's seeing visions, something she hadn't thought he could ever get, unless he tried to see into someone's future, it means some shit is about to hit the fan. again. ] Nothing to worry about, yeah?
[ if it's nothing to worry about, why is alisha responding to him now rather than when she returns to him? ]
video »
It felt like I was using my power- [And there's a difference. At least, he thinks so- Simon does try to look certain. His power hasn't done this before, that's enough isn't it?] It's got to be for a reason.
video
[He's not going to admit that he too heard the voices. There's enough strange things going on as it is]
Tell ya what, maybe you should cut back on the free wine they got flowing around here.
video
[The look on Simon's face makes it clear he has no idea, but there's an eagerness that suggests he'd want to help if he could. He almost feels compelled to;
before his expression turns rather serious, Simon doesn't always pick up on sarcasm, or a good natured tease. Or perhaps he simply wants to try sort this out.]
I haven't been drinking.
video
[Magic. Magic was always messy and more than a little annoying, and this place was full of annoying magic]
Really? Too bad, they had some really good stuff up at the castle last I remember. Maybe you should start.
Re: video
[Simon's head tilts a little, as if he isn't quite so sure of that the other person means. Isn't dragging you from home bad enough? Not that it was so bad, for him or Alisha.
To the words relating to drink there's the hint of a grin upon Simon's lips, as if he's almost amused at the idea of trying said alcohol, maybe he wants to, or could be convinced of it.]
Maybe after we figure what we're supposed to do? If this is a message.
[ Except duties, right? Serious medieval hero duties to figure out what the screaming faces bursting into mist was all about.]
Re: video
[This place makes him so grumpy]
And if it's some weird star trap?
video
[Simon had been struck enough by what he saw, and felt it almost enough that he's barely considered it might not be genuine, his brows furrow.]
A star trap? You think maybe it's not a real call for help?
Re: video
[Were stars inanimate? Who cared!]
video
But being wary of inanimate things talking is a good point to be making and Simon does nod a little, to accept it.]
There's magic in this world- [Doesn't really make these things less strange, though does it? He still looks confused.] Maybe this sort of thing happens all the time? -It's uh, not really like that where I'm from.
Re: video
[Even if he was one to use it to his advantage when needed, Will was never going to be the sort to simply trust it]
video
[Simon can't help but be curious, there's so many worlds here, so many things that he's never heard of before.]
video
No magic in Storybrook, but there's loads other places that you can learn magic in. Bit of an ugly business if you ask me.
video
[Wonderland? Important questions, aren't they? All this magic stuff. Perhaps it's not the same of course, but Simon has little else than 'fiction' stories to base this all on.
He looks as if he's hanging on the information this guy is giving him. It's almost a belated thought.]
I'm Simon-
video
Will. Will Scarlet.
video
What do you think, of these shards we're supposed to have within us? They're magic, aren't they?
[He's not really asked a lot about it- really they could be equally lost, but it's always worth asking isn't it.]
Re: video
[He hadn't put much thought into the shards. They were simply something others talked about. It was probably a stupid way to wander this world, but Will decided that he would deal with these shard things when the time came]
They're something, don't know if it's magic or just fancy gems stuck inside us because them Royal folk were bored. Why, you fixin' on hunting some down?
[This was said in obvious jest as the boy didn't look like much of a fighter]
video
[Not just fancy. Simon looks and sounds pretty serious about this sort of thing, as if trying to convince Will. After all there was supposed to be a reason they were kidnapped? Alisha being here too, of course.]
I think I want to know more about them first-- how they work. But, I could.
[Simon's not quite defensive, but sounding overly sure of himself -- as he doesn't miss the fact Will is almost mocking him, brows furrowing a little.]
The royals here are supposed to reward us, if we do well by them.
Re: video
Yeah, them Royals will reward us, but does that reward mean goin' home? This place is just a really big, really nice cage. They toss us a few treats for doin' tricks and pat our heads. I know their sort, and the moment someone ain't useful to them, that someone will find they ain't so "special" anymore.
