[He pauses. Rolls his eyes a little. ]

My previous suggestion for a bike was mocked mercilessly by my nephew. Seeing that he's vanished, there's no better opportunity to reach out for one. I'm willing to negotiate a price. Within reason.

[Another pause - this time, his locket shakes a little as he reaches for something out of sight there's a grainy view of his chest for a long moment before he settles back down, a cup of something frothy in his hands. ]

Also, as a matter of curiosity, just how wide is the World Wide Web at the Station? Have they evolved into social media?

That's quite harsh to imply about my skills. [Said lightly, clearly not offended] It's a shame we don't have a train or some form of flight travel here, it would make everything easier. Even with the limited technology here, an all-terrain bike should be possible at least.

Don't take it personally. If I can touch it, the less wary I am. The problem is the limited technology. I'm not sure what exactly is feasible here.

That's fair enough. [Even if she is a tiny 13 year old girl with hearts all over her, it's still natural to be wary of strangers and their unknown powers. She's been there, it's definitely nothing personal.] It's difficult to know with this unfamiliar terrain. What have you considered so far? Other than the bike, has anyone suggested anything else?

There's carriages, I suppose. Going by foot. Almost every method of transport will take weeks.
