And he’s not entirely convinced that he’s not being made a fool of. But it seems he has little lose except a bit of dignity, perhaps, and at the moment, at least, there’s no one around to see him. So he clears his throat, takes a breath, and speaks.]

I’m looking for someone.

[He pauses, feeling decidedly foolish. But the thought of finding Cersei is enough to spur him on.]

My sister, to be precise. Cersei. She’s very pretty. Blonde hair, green eyes… Essentially, me with tits. If you can help me find her, you’ll be handsomely rewarded.

[He offers his faceless audience a charming grin. He’s not entirely sure that his coin will be any good here, but gold is gold, is it not? And if his gold somehow fails him, well… he’ll find some way to repay the favor.]

Take me to her, and I’ll truly be in your debt. So long as she is unharmed, of course. If you’re thinking she’d make a lucrative hostage, rest assured, I will pay you back - in steel, not gold.

So. I believe that covers it. I’ll be waiting.

[And with that he snaps the locket shut, feeling a good deal more hopeful than he had just a few minutes ago. Cersei is far from quiet. Surely someone who’s encountered her will see his message. She may even see it herself.

He’ll be seeing her soon. He’s sure of it. And when he does… well, he’ll just have to demonstrate precisely how much he has missed her.]

[He smiles, amused, sure that she has know idea just how close that is. Unless she does... That's an intriguing thought.]

[Well meaning as her wish may be, it strikes him like a blow to the gut. He can't bear to think that he might not see her again.]

Jaime Lannister. [He offers her a polite nod of his own, enjoying the opportunity to introduce himself. Usually his reputation precedes him.] It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Borgia.

[It is a lie she has gotten accustomed to, for she is not yet a Sforza in her heart. She smiles sweetly at him.]

Lucrezia is fine, my lord.

Lucrezia... [He smiles in return, pleased that he seems to have found a friend here.] In that case, you can call me Jaime.

It is a pleasure then, Jaime. [She pauses.]

May I ask what court you are in?

What court...? [Oh, right. Here.] Ah... Unseelie, I believe. [Though, he's still not entirely sure exactly what that means.]

I regret to say that we would not likely be seeing each other soon. But if ever you wish to speak, I would greatly like to again.

Oh... [She must be in the other court then. He can't help but be disappointed by that. But perhaps there is hope...]

I would like that too. You've been... very kind to me.

Why would I not be? [She tilts her head to look at him curiously. She doesn't know they call him the kingslayer, and even if they did, the amount of times a king is killed, justified or not, is not enough for her to judge him. Oaths and vows are often broken.]

You have done nothing but be kind yourself back to me.

[He shrugs fractionally, his smile taking on a bitter twist.]

People often seem to find cause enough to be unkind. But I try never to be unkind without reason, and you certainly haven't given me any.

Good thing for you I am not people. I am Lucrezia. [She smiles coyly.]
