[ Firstly, enjoy a video of what it's like above the clouds. Ceffyl Dwr can occasionally be seen cresting the wispy tundra in herds, neighing their way in and out of focus as they shift into mist. Your host for this flight, on the other hand, can't be seen save for a bit of knee and elbow here and there, and perhaps a flash of hair whenever he curls forward before a dive.

Altogether, it's a very pretty sight. When he finally lifts the locket, Jack looks a little distracted by his far-off company but those bright blue eyes swing back eventually. ]

My name's Jack Frost. I was one of the Seelie when I first got here, but I ... I went home, I think. It's kind of a blur. [ A shrug. ] And now I'm Unseelie. I was at the last major feast in Caer Glaem not long ago, I flew all night to get there and find my friends. Their names are Alayne, Hiccup and Elsa. If you know them, give me a head's up. Oh! If the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Sandman or Santa Claus is around, point them in my direction too.

I realize how absolutely stupid that list sounds, trust me.

[ Doing a double-take before be signs off, he snorts out a smirk. ]

A massive white one almost snapped me up when I got to the feast. Also! Some guy called Snow thought I was evil. That was a ton of fun, as you can imagine.

[ she breathes her concern -- phrasing it as though she could not imagine a single soul could find trouble with the mischievous spirit. but beneath her gentle friendship comes a lurking horror: did jon learn something she never learned? should she also be wary? ]

Being partially deceased sort of freaked him out, he thought I was a White Walker. Whatever that is.

Tall guy, straggly hair, wasn't as bad as he could've been, I suppose, even with a sword in his hand. His wolf had the weirdest eyes.

[ she takes it he means odd as unbelievable. in which case: ] None, before here. But I think the very notion of oddness takes some refining after meeting fairies.

Fairies are irritating little jerks and gossips besides, at least in my experience. I wouldn't tell them any massive secrets, if I were you.

[ trust. she has never felt trusted. and although she would like to feel it now, it's soured by the knowledge that she is indeed lying to him. ]

Not all the time, it's best to pretend — or it was with a lot of other spirits, back home. But I do like you, Alayne, so that's that, I'm afraid.

And I like you. [ this, at least, is no lie. ] I have never seen something so spectacular as your magic. Your...talent.

People from northern lands are always my favorite, but don't tell anyone I said that. [ Winking. ] They appreciate the snow a lot more, it's not so much of a bother for them.

There are others from lands more northern than me! [ she is quick to say. quick to reinforce a lie, though it pains her to lie to him. ]
