[Sigrid is looking fairly haggard and pale. Behind her is the rugged green wilderness surrounding the Station, though the Station itself is not in sight.]
I'm in the middle of nowhere at all and I've got a bad leg. I couldn't find my locket and I had to ask a thrush to find it for me. A thrush. I'm talking to thrushes and they answer me. Anyway I need help. The thrush said he'd go and find someone, but I don't know who he meant. Does anyone know if thrushes are wise birds or silly birds? If he brings back a bear or something, I've got to hide now.

It's a couple of days old, but I can't walk very far unless there's a bear chasing me or something. Did he speak to you, too?

[ And really, wut. It's probably magic; everything boils down to magic in this place, but it bears asking, ]
How did you come to be there?

[Most helpful description.]

I shall be there soon. I do not think Gelefn will allow you to ride with me, and I would rather not chance it, so I will bring you back to the Station myself while he keeps watch on the surrounding wilds.
[ Given she isn't technically a princess yet in her own right and doesn't wear a crown, or have the right to one just yet, and his unicorn is a somewhat stalwart fellow. ]

What else could he mean? She suddenly feels very ashamed of her attitude toward him. He's not just condescending to rescue to a chit too stupid to rescue herself, he's coming with the full knowledge that he'll put aside the crown and be a beast of burden for a while. It's hard not to get a bit teary-eyed at that. She blinks rapidly.]
Oh. Sorry. Thank-you. I should...let you ride properly, sorry. I've got friends to keep me company till you get here.

Then I shall be there soon.
[ The video ends as he closes the locket and urges Gelefn on, the unicorn tramping up clumps of grassland on their way from the Station. The ride isn't so long, ten minutes or so with the powerfully muscled beast glad to stretch his legs, and when Thranduil comes into sight of Sigrid he drops from his steed's back at a comfortable walk before four legs have stopped moving. Long hair spills where it will all over the shoulders of a plain grey t-shirt, his boots alone of Elven make over black jeans; it's just not practical to wear his armour twenty-four/seven and his own clothes are somewhat gory from tending his son so often. So, a pared-down Elf he makes. ]
Where does your leg hurt the most?
[ The Elvenking's stride takes him to her side at a fluid crouch and while efficient in his approach, the coolness isn't without care. ]

Done
[A nerveless hand lifts her skirt up over her calf to reveal a largeish linen bandage wrapped around it.]
almost cracked a stitch laughing
The healers at the Station will do more good than I, I've neither their skill or patience with wounds and you would find me a poor substitute.
[ Upset as Legolas has been by Sigrid's words, panicked even, it's not as if Thranduil could simply leave her in the wilderness like this. Upon seeing the dirtied bandage, his resolve hardens to speak with her about his son at a later date; she has quite enough to be getting on with in the here and now. ]
I can, at least, provide you a smooth journey into their care. [ One of his arms reaches for her back, the other readying by her knees. Blue-grey eyes lilt over to catch her attention. ] Are you ready?
Don't do that.
Ready.

Let me know if your leg aches more than it has been.

How's your son? [she asks in a small voice, after some time has passed.] I was rubbish at trying to cheer him up.

He will be fine. [ Which is to say, without saying it, that she did screw up rather badly. ] Legolas is stronger than he knows.

So's everyone.
[She means Thranduil, but it's hard to tell. Nobody gives pats on the back for strength where she comes from. On the Lake, strength is a default, not a virtue. It's the only thing that explains why you're still alive, most of the time. She got to hear a number of peoples' opinions on how sad it was that her mother wasn't strong enough to survive a third birth.]
