korra would've totally won within minutes if she'd been able to use her best friend for help, but pride wouldn't let her.

but now here she is, about three days later, visibly frustrated but letting it only last for a few seconds, perking up when she finally gets the locket to work. ]

Hey, who wants to help me play a game! [ despite her broad grin, this game is super not physically demanding. really!! ] See, I lost someone, and for the past three days I've been trying to find him, but, heh, I guess he's a better hider than I thought.

[ behind her, the giant polar beardog lets out a sigh, her tail thumping lazily on the floor. ]

What? [ korra turns to face the massive animal, who picks her head up, letting out a half-bark. ] Naga, you know the rules. I can't ask you for help, but Bilbo didn't say I couldn't ask everyone else...

[ naga just fixes korra with a look that says "you're doing it again" before placing her chin on her paws. ]

... Yeah, well, no one asked you. [ and so korra turns back to the locket, still pushing a grin. ] If you wanna help me find him, he's about—um... [ she lifts a hand to her stomach... lower... hip... ah... fuck it!! ] He's really short and he's got this curly hair and really hairy feet. He kinda... looks? like a kid? But don't call him that because he's really a grumpy old man and he's kinda sensitive about that.

[ and with that, korra nods once and ends the feed!! she and naga are going to be around everywhere in the castle looking for bilbo, so if you'd like to action in this post, go right ahead!! ]

[Kili's humming absently to himself, not paying much attention as he limps along, using his walking stick to support his weight as he moves. His leg is doing much better now, though the pain is still there and he still can't quite move without assistance.

He's not paying much attention when he blunders right into someone hard enough to knock him backwards onto the ground.]

Oh!

[Pain shoots through his bad leg and he winces, grasping for his walking stick so he can get to his feet again.] Ah, forgive me, I wasn't looking...

[ naga, unlike the other two dunderheads, was watching where she was going, and in a grace that belies her size, the canine-like creature is able to nimbly dance out of the way, leaving korra and kili to stumble into one another.

korra steps back a few paces with a loud oomf! but she doesn't seem (any more) frustrated (than usual), raising a hand and rubbing at the impact spot. she's about to fire off a "watch where you're going!" but seeing kili reach for the walking stick immediately kills her voice. quickly she reaches for both him and his aide to help him up. ]

It's fine! No harm done, but... [ she glances him over, reaching one hand to the flask at her hip just in case ] Are you okay?

[kilimanjaro]

[Kili smiles gratefully as she helps him up, taking his walking stick and steadying himself with it once he gets to his feet. Letting out a deep breath, he glances about and catches sight of the great...beast...thing.

He edges away nervously.]

Aye, just fine.

[sangilak]

[ but korra doesn't give up easily, and she fixes kili with a concerned look. ]

I can heal your leg if it's giving you problems. [ she says, summoning the water to her hand, letting it glow with her chi.

naga meanwhile is a good dog and stays where she is, lowering her haunches to the castle ground and not approaching kili. she can pick up on the dwarf's nervousness, and though she seems attentive, ears pricked forward, she's not going to do anything to scare him. ]

[His eyes widen and for a moment he just gapes at her.]

I uh...I've had it healed twice now. It'll...um...

[Why is he so baffled by this?]

[sangilak]

[ ??? you look like you've seen a ghost, dwarf-man. ]

... What?

[ she glances down at her glowing hand and then up at kili again, her eyebrows raising. ]

Your hand. What...what is it doing? [He backs away a bit.]
