{ Locket - Video }

[The image shows a hard looking man, dark green of skin and fiery red in beard and hair. The rough lines of his features show his age and a lifetime of hard living, though he richly decorates himself in gold and jewels that adorn his forehead, his spiked crown, and earrings. There was no kindness wrote in his eyes and his bearing was that of a general and a king. Every word he utters is precisely mean.

His is a name that is known throughout the Drabwurld, despite not yet having lived in this world for a full year.]

I am Ganondorf Dragmire, Lord of both Mair and Maupertius. Both I have won through battle and conquest and that alone should tell you all you need know of me. A battle is coming that will make our previous conflicts look like squabbles. In light of recent aggressions within Unseelie territory by Seelie shardholders, I will no longer tolerate Seelie shardholders within my city without my express authorization. I issued this warning once, but now I make it law. All Seelie shardholders will leave my lands or they will be considered spies and be treated thusly. I will allow one week for any such individuals to make their arrangements and leave. After that week, they will no longer be tolerated. Neither Mair nor Maupertius will provide a safe haven for you, regardless of whether you think to claim neutrality to this conflict. Your word is meaningless next to the safety of my people.

Do not trouble me with your objections or accusations. I have no use for them.

[The feed goes out to all lockets because while Damon is playing Unseelie master of the house, he also doesn't really care who answers, as long as he gets what he wants.]

Greetings from the deserted wastelands of the East.

[Damon's out in the actual sunshine (gasp), the sounds of busy people and horses and a few troll grunts audible as background noise. As for the actual background? The stump of the spire as it's being worked on, along with the dust and barrenness of the mountains. To the left of him behind him, Fernando can be seen feeding the horses. Good Fernando.]

Circumstances have made it so that I've landed myself some things in need of training. I've been told that there's stories of old land holders in the deserts training the sand worms as sentinels, of sorts. Well, it seems I have sand worms that could hatch at any time -- who knows about worm incubation periods, really, but no worm trainers here to train them.

This would be me putting out a call for worm trainers. I know, I know, it sounds like a bad nickname for prostitutes, but really. Giant worms.

...

Also another euphemism, one I actually didn't mean. That time.

[Smirk.]

Leave a message on the lockets or send a letter or show up. I don't care. But you'd better be able to actually train them and not expect to blow smoke up my ass. Otherwise... well. I just wouldn't advise that.

I wish to let everyone know that I have retired now to Caer Scima to begin the construction phase of the Hall of the Remembered, at Morla's behest. For those who have been kind enough to share with me their memories of the lost and fallen Unseelie, I thank you. For those who still wish to help, I welcome your aid. Please do not hesitate to contact or visit me.

I requested artistic immunity for any members of the Seelie court willing to assist me, but unfortunately, Morla has stated that she cannot guarantee your safety. Still, I will turn away no help offered, and will be glad to arrange things to the best of my ability. My son is willing to offer transportation services to those who need it.

Residents of Caer Scima, I issue my apologies in advance. Morla has requested that the art installation be placed in every room save one. This is sure to cause various inconveniences, though I give my word to make any interruption as brief as I possibly can. Again, your cooperation is invaluable, and you have my thanks.

[Nerdanel will be able to be found in and around Caer Scima working on her sculptures, anyone is welcome to visit and watch her if they want! Various members of the Unseelie court may find themselves chased out of any rooms where she might happen to be working, including their quarters. Sorry about that.]

[Lockets don’t give all that much video detail when they’re being used for that function, but it’s clear that Kayneth is moving and sitting in the back of a wagon of some sort that seems to be filled with armor. He’s got a few arcane looking materials lying around, and is drawing circles on a breastplate --- or at least, that can be assumed that’s what he’s doing, as most of the breastplate is out of view.

Like hell he’s letting any of you see his trade secrets! But anyway, it’s clear he has some questions for the network…]

Well, with tensions heating up, I do believe that it’s a fantastic idea to use these lockets for the purpose I presume they’re intended for --- particularly, sharing intelligence.

I’m currently aiding a transport that’s bringing supplies to the new Citadel, both on the building end of things and the munitions end of things. Because of the nature of our destination and our cargo, I assumed that the best route to keep everything safe would be to go through the Northwood and then Eaglais --- but are there any specifically unique dangers to that route? I know it’s customary to leave an offering of milk and honey for the White Hart while passing through, but is there anything else? Bandits, perhaps?

As you can see, I'm giving the munitions and armor a few useful modifications, so I'd really rather not risk having my hard work fall into precisely the wrong hands.
