[ the locket manages to only catch sky and what looks like white wings when it's first on. reyna hadn't meant it that way but reyna isn't quite used to riding guido and can't be faulted for thinking she'd have landed already. when her face is finally revealed, anyone looking is likely to see a girl with her hair in windswept braid standing next to a horse with those white wings that had been seen before. ]

I apologize for that rude introduction of wings and sky. [ there's an undercurrent of amusement in her tone. whether that's there because she had meant to do it or because she's just running off a high of being in the air with the pegasus is up for debate. ] I found this pegasus in the stables and he happens to be from home. It's not the specific one I asked for but— I still enjoy seeing him. [ she pauses, making sure to pet his mane for a moment outside of the locket's view before continuing. ]

I have a few questions for all of the shardbearers if you can spare a moment to listen. [ the slightly unimpressed frown she gives the locket might imply that she'd prefer they'd listen but people can be people. ] Have any of you found yourself receiving pets from home or pets in general as a gift? And if you have, do you know why? Or if there was some thing you did to earn them?

[ she smiles just slightly before continuing. ] Any answers would be appreciated. And I'll try to stay on the ground while we to avoid any wing incidents again.

[It's been two days since Charles had regained feeling in his legs again. The note pinned on his door had been vague and at first he'd thought it was another trick, or something temporary. Since then he'd been slipping by invisibly using his telepathy when possible in order to avoid attention while he made sense of the change. Acceptance was still an ongoing process.

But he'd also started to think about contingency plans, which is why he's making his first appearance on the network.]

I'm not exactly equipped for life in this land. Where I'm from, we haven't used horses to get around in seventy-odd years and nobody learns archery or how to swordfight anymore except for sport. It's a bit of a disadvantage, given the circumstances.

So. I need teachers. [The irony of being the pupil for once is not lost on him.] And if you've met me, and you're wondering how - well. That issue seems to have been taken care of.

[He drums his fingers a few times on the table from nervous energy and gives a quick smile. But moving on - ]

In another matter altogether, I would be grateful if anyone would be willing to share with me what magic is like in their world since it's woven into everyday life here and seems to vary so much. It's a new concept for me but I'm interested in learning more if you have the time and the patience.

[ when the video begins, there's a woman peering into it. she's a contrast to her brother-- all pale gold and ivory, soft and a little ethereal. she hesitates a brief moment, then sits back, folding her hands lightly together in her lap. ]

Good day. My apologies for not introducing myself before now. I have been.. recovering. [ from what, well, it's not something she's sharing. she offers a small smile, though, entire face seeming to brighten with it. ] I believe my brother has already made quite an impression, though, so perhaps it's time. My name is Nuala, twin to Prince Nuada and daughter of King Balor of Clan Bethmoora. Our people have long been called elves, and it is with that thought in mind that--in particular--I wish to hail our otherworld kin. [ her smile widens faintly, and she has to duck her head for a moment, fingertips coming to her lips as if a little overwhelmed. she takes a breath, then, and lifts her chin again. ]

I beg your pardon. I am simply.. very glad. .. Which is not to say that I am not equally glad to meet those of other races, mortal and otherwise.

[ she presses her fingertips together in her lap, glancing down at them briefly as she considers what else she wants to say. ]

If I might also inquire.. is there a need for healers? I typically work with the land, but.. it feels relatively healthy here. The bodies of people, then-- though I must confess that my strength is not currently what it was. [ a brief pause, then a polite bow of her head. ] Thank you for your time. [ and the feed ends. ]
