silvergift[The morning had started off with a bit of panic, Celebrían waking to find a mark on the palm of her hand that she couldn't wash off.]
It's okay, it's the mark of the traveler!

A permanent marking on my hand was not what I was thinking when I asked for something that might prove useful for us.
But you could lose it otherwise. And now you'll get help where ever you go, at no cost, from guards and inn keepers and couriers. Even other travelers.
Some warning would have been welcome.
